| I have low rank Gigginox and Rathalos armor sets, but as I'm going through high rank online quests it seems I need better armor. Rathian actually hurts again (yes they are all maxed upgrades)! Any suggestions? Or do I have to wait until 5* online HR 40+ when I can overforge my armor/make high rank armor?
I plan on getting Vangis armor afterwards, so any suggestions for Jho here is also welcome. Killing him via Peco is hurting my Mega Potion stash.

| Overforged peco and Jaggi+ are good. Same goes for Barroth+ but it's a longer road to obtain all the parts. Bnahabra/+ mixed with pieces to give either earplugs or evade is good, as well. Depends on the weapon. Alloy+ is OK as is rathian OF/+ should your weapon class be able to take advanatge of earplugs well.
Some folks just tough it out until 40 because the 4* monsters are mostly easy anyway. If your profile is right, just OF peco and gem it for speed sharpen/trapmaster/AuM/or a combo of those for ease into 5* hunts.

| Alrighty. If so then I need more armor spheres since theyre not max level yet, but that shouldnt be a problem. | |

| I just overforged my rathian set.
As usual the first times fighting rathian with LR is going to be painful but as you do it more and more you will get each piece overforged.
or just make some + pieces to mix in with the overforged stuff.
I found it to be the same for any new hunt. I wanted to overforge barioth but i had to do HR barioth first so the first bunch of times doing that hunt i was on high alert since he could kill me quite easily.

| Overforged peco is great. It's an easy fight, nothing particularly rare is needed, and peco has the ever so useful evade+ | |

| I do have an Expert +6 Talisman that I'm using on my current low rank Rathalos set. I used gems to get Crit Eye +3 (works well with Dancing Flames). So I should just wait until I'm HR 40 to get the overforged better armor?
Oh, and quick question: Which is better, Agnaktor armor or Agnaktor+ armor?

Oh, and quick question: Which is better, Agnaktor armor or Agnaktor+ armor? Agna+ hands down. it gives you Razor sharp, Guard+2, Flame aura(to attract those bugs and keeps jaggi away ^^) also not to mention all those available slots

| (Crystalis) it comes down to which skills you prefer... kinda. The low rank has Guard Up (essential for counter lancing) and the high rank has Razor Sharp. For the best results, you'd want a mix, something like this: ClickyAlso in the Earplugs edition, for only an extra 3 slots: Clicky | |

| Soz I should stop making the rest of my Agna set then? I have the vambraces, so that'll work for the hybrid set.
But I'm not lucky with Talismans so I'd rather not depend on them... ehh.
But Agna+ is a reliable lancing set, right?

| Here is the set that Many people including I find it useful against ALA. its not that hard except the tali. oh did i mention the weapon is Sabertooth(G)
Edit: Opps forgot to copy my own set. Sorry. Anyways The set is identical except i use a guard up tali +6 and gem in guard up and Spd Sharpening. I also gem out short sprint. Skills are Guard+2, Guard Boost, Razor sharp, Flame Aura, Speed sharpening. With Sabertooth (G). This Set Is for those who want to Solo ALA. For Jho, you do not need Guard Boost so ill rather invest other skills to replace that

| You don't need the decoration on the Tali for Earplugs, so that helps a bit with Tali luck. I'm planning on building Sabertooth anyway, so that's cool. I don't frankly care too much about Alatreon, but this is good for Deviljho as well?
Oh and isn't this the same one Ataraxia posted? Seems popular. 8)

It's not even much of a bother so I just leave it there... :D Plus, dash juices make skills like short sprinter and constitution useless.

Given my responses I know what I'm doing, I just would like to verify with other people who have already used these sets. I appreciate your optimistic support. If you don't like me asking for opinions, then please leave it alone.

Good luck in your quest,I do wish you the best of luck....regardless of my remarks in this thread. It's all good. I can understand that my comments were also sort of blunt, but usually it's just that I'm trying to confirm what others are saying and seeing if I understand it correctly, or listing off things I observe. So yeah, straightforward responses don't really come across well in text form. :| And it's not really a "quest" lol I'm just trying to get better armor so Jho doesn't roll me like he's a friggin tank crushing a tin can (dat boulder). From what I see on Youtube, lancing seems optimal, and I noticed Agnaktor armor has good lance skills.
