It's finally out. (For NSTC-U players)
G Rank Mode allows for you to re-experience old and new quest with more difficulty despite having upgraded armor. Although, Custom Quests are much harder, so why not equip yourself with some of the many custom weapons that are now available?
Comment away. (Oh and please comment and like on the actual video as well.)

Got to say no.
Its just changing the colour and numbers.
If you could actually add new things it would be good. But as far as fighting a blue rathian goes. I'm good.
How are you going to 'release' this? Assuming you've just modded your own copy?

Obviously, I'll be shipping copies of this game worldwide at no cost.
But, seriously there is a download link (in the video description). Also, Rathalos is blue not Rathian, it's to supposed to be reminiscent of fighting the subspecies in the earlier games. The monsters have speed modifiers and there is more of a focus on actually learning to dodge monster's attacks because you can't depend on your armor to save you from critical damage.
So, yes...while it appears to be partially an aesthetical mod, there are more intense moments to be had in attempting to complete the newer quests, trying out different weapons, and collecting all them all.

Any installation instructions?
I'd definitely be fun to try and mess around with but I reckon it'd be better if new monsters came out. Like ice Agnaktor (I saw it in the vid.) with different material drops.
How do the weapons work anyway?

I could delve into specifics, but...you need HBC, and an SD Card. I'll PM you the instructions.
Well, since you can't add anything to the disk, most weapons were revamped, changed completely, or replaced with special textures and descriptions; however, not every custom weapon is the final upgrade, nor is the final upgrade the best option or serves the same purpose as what it upgrades to. So, there will be a scavenger hunt to remake some older weapons and other weapons you'd never even considered forging before.

Sweet cheers.
How many weapons have been added?
Can I;
A) Only play with others who have it? B) Uninstall to play normally?

A) It is recommended that you play with others who have it. Otherwise, you're going to be experiencing a different battle than your non-CQing teammates.
B) You can uninstall HBC like deleting any other channel. The Riivolution app for HBC provides the option of playing in (Default) aka Vanilla.
EDIT:
How many? There are over 100 in total, but there are fewer new textured ones within that number in the patch.

/no/ An offset about this is that "Ice" Agnaktor was making lava in the tundra. And when the cooling part was happening (of the classic agna) the Blue turned to Red

Sadly, some parts of Agnaktor are difficult to edit, hence there are some flaws with him.

Stop being so hard on the guy... It's a fan made mod, it's not going to be absolutely perfect.
I think the people who will get the most fun out of this would be the vets/semi-retired who have completed the game through and through, or people who just got bored with the lack of variety or lack of difficulty.
I'd definitely give this a go, but not only do I not trust myself with something this potentially dangerous (I'd rather not brick my Wii) but I'm not even sure if my new-ish Sky router will let me on online again, or what the stability is.
Good job nonetheless, looks pretty good. Only issue I can see would be balancing, do you plan to update it with feedback on what's OP and what's not? Obviously G Rank is supposed to be OP to an extent but no one likes a near impossible battle.

There is no chance of bricking it with the Letterbomb method of obtaining the HBC. As long as you just use the channel for CQing, then there should be no problem because it is just a soft-mod you can delete like any other channel.
I will hopefully get a lot of feedback on what's OP, but the difficulty is adjusted to where we believe that these buffs were appropriate. However, we are going to be working on the balances by taking into consideration all of the user input.

Technically, there is already a quest like that. It's called "When Hell Freezes Over."
