| God, I remember when I first saw image. I nearly had a heart attack!! I really wish it'd come over. The chances of ANY of the japanese event gear coming over here is practically nil, but that axe is just too cool. | |

| Would give me a reason to get damascus blademaster armour. :o
But like anduin said, since it's an event weapon we can't be sure if we'll get it. But even if we do... that quest you need to complete to get it... blos, black blos, ura, iron ura. Does not look fun.

| Heck, I'd try that. Even if you had to fight all 4 of them at the same time! It'd be worth it to get that axe! - Spoiler:
Please don't actually do that!!
Here are it's stats: Fox Slash Rarity:9 Attack: 1196 Raw, 120 Ice Power Phial Three Slots Sharpness: White (Sharpness+1: Purple) Here's my source http://mh3g.trigwiki.jp/data/896.html

/watch?v=ChaOHjPhqHM Oh wow, thank you so much! That thing is beastly! Remember, being an event weapon, it might not come over. It's part of an event quest in collaboration with Famitsu, and they may not allow it to be brought overseas. rest assured, however, that we'll (most likely) be getting an event switch axe ourselves with the same stats, if not the same looks. Sorta like in Monster Hunter Tri where, when all the event weapons came over, People got to design their own weapons. So who knows what ours might look like! - Spoiler:
It might even be a design from here!
EDIT: Three of the weapons in Tri were designed by fans: Lion's Bane, Tenebra and Sinister Saints. Sharq Attack, Banderlance "Byakko," and Rising Soul were not.

I remember reading on the wikia that Lion's Bane was designed as a Sword n' Shield, but Capcom, with their unimaginable power, transformed that Sns into Lion's Bane.

| What I look forward too: Damn well near everything! Especially the snow bunny. New ice monster? Yes PLEASE.
What I will miss: IF it's not an option, Wii-mote controls. I know (almost) everyone seems to hate it, but I have to wonder why? It feels natural to me, although I can say that it would be jarring if you're coming from the PSP.
Not gonna miss: IF it's fixed the ridiculous problems that have plagued my online experience from day 1. Seriously, WHY can't I connect? What did I do wrong?

The Wii U should be able to use Wii accessories,so you should be alright in that department. BTW I love using the wiimote+nunchuck myself. I love being able to sprawl about and lounge while playing!

| I know the Wii U will support Wii-motes and such, but what I wonder is if MHTriU is programmed to use it as well. | |

| Honestly, I see no reason why it shouldn't. I'll be surprised if it doesn't! But then, we do have to stay on our toes: This IS Capcom we're talking about! | |
