| Hey all, now that Tri has nearly finished it's cycle what features of the game have you never opted to use? I don't necessarily mean things you just found out about, but stuff you have never chosen to do.
I have never:
Fished in the Sandy Plains fishing area
Tried to enter another hunter's house
Played split screen offline arena
So share with us what you've never tried.

| It's sad to say, but I haven't really delved that much into online arena. I really need to get on that soon... | |

| Come to think of it, there's not much that I haven't done. I think the only thing that I have not done yet is offline arena splitscreen. As I know no-one near me who actually plays.. It's a sad story.. | |

| I never used the split screen either, seeing as MH isnt really popular with people that I know.. I also rarely use the gallery..save for watching the ending cutscene after you first beat deus (I love the music). | |

| I never felt the need for wii speak I don't talk all that much irl x.x. I have never done split screen arena because I am the only person that dares touch this game that I know. Pretty much done it all in my two years plus of playing if I remember something I'll post it as soon as possible. This game has been a lot of fun tried as much as I could to squeeze everything from it in my two years of off and online play. | |

Whoah... I played an alt once with the stipulation all my urgents were going to be solo. What do you do when waiting for others? Considering how often the message pops up, cannot believe I forgot to mention never using Wii speak either. To those who have done "most everything": Have you sent the piggy down the stream or made your hunter do the Captain Morgan stance?

| 1st Carry the piggy over to the stream.
2nd Be at character selection with the animations enabled and hold down - button when selecting. + also does a different specific animation.

Compared to a lot of you guys, I've kinda skimped on what I've done/used in Tri. But trust me, split screen offline arena is... bleh. Nothing really to shout about unless you and your bro are just dicking around.

| The whole gathering/mining/fishing business is extremely bogus. I'm pretty sure it's only in there to fluff out the game.

| - Split offline arena. (no surprise there)
- Fishing other than quest or subquest objectives.
- Adrenaline/heroics.
- Rage Match.
- Get all the gold crowns.
- Get all the furnishings.
- Master all the weapons (I wouldn't even consider myself a master with my main weapons. Proficient, but not mastered)
- Hack.
- Visit the Veggie Elder in Deserted Island.
- Get all the 100/30 titles.
- HR999.
- Solo any of the 6* online quests.
- See or create a serious set with the AntiTheft skill.
- Those two visual tricks Navgoose posted.
Yeah, gathering/mining/fishing are kind of a fluff, but what RPG doesn't have this to some degree? The only ones I can think of are the strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem & FF Tactics - not much fluff in them.

Mining is ESSENTIAL!!!

| I forgot to mention the wii speak, I felt that if I bought it the only thing that people were going to hear was either mumbling in spanish or someone passing by talking (also in spanish), after 2010 I hadnt seen any wiispeaker icon on randoms.

| I think with "features" Navgoose meant parts of the game you haven't used, not certain achievements? I wouldn't call HR 999 a feature of the game, it's just an extension of playing online (for a long time), not an actual seperate part of the game. Same goes for crowns, weapons (though trying them all is one), resources, specific quests etc.
For me, i hardly fished for materials, but thats due to the more efficient ways of getting them. Never used wiispeak either, but i don't think there's anybody else that did. Kinda neglected the armour color customization too, it felt like i wasn't doing anything.

| Yeah, I meant features and not really achievements. I would consider the different ranks of quests a feature, but not getting 999 or collecting every award.
What I am seeing common so far is arena being neglected in one mode or another by several hunters, gathering in general being avoided, and the wii speak compatibility.
Has everyone used each server type or the online city search features? Has anyone never sent or read messages, friends, etc. Those types of things.
That made me think of one! I have never whispered to another hunter from a quest and don't have a keyboard attached, which mostly explains the lack of communication period let alone to someone in tavern while fighting.

| I never used the Captain Morgan stance I actually turned the character animation off from the options since it said It will load faster (it doesn't)
also I never used any weapon other than bowguns. (used LS once as a friend challenged me to. and sns once to KO Kelbies in the gather blue horns quest)
never used the hunting memo (I actually just found out about it) the part that lets you save needed items to collect for making armor or weapon in the armory.
other than that I think I squeezed everything from this game.I even read all the textboxes/chats from characters in the game.
