Yet, on one quest he goes to the volcano.

That's like sitting down and having a hot chocolate outside on an extremely hot summer morning.

Pretty sure irony is the wrong word there. But yes, dumb Jho is dumb.

Biologically speaking it's referring to the Jho having to maintain a high body heat, meaning it has to consume a lot to keep up it's metabolic rate.

It's the tundra region that would make it constantly starving.
