Narga farmin help

Hello,
So im farmin him for weapons mostly, just wanted to know if anyone has found an amazing way to easily (by easily i mean fast) farm this guy. (breaking parts is as always, a must) i remember in freedom unite, GS was the preferred method, because the nargas cool down time for the tri lunge and tail spike, both coincided with the gs lvl 3 charge time. So it was Charge->cooldown animation->start charge->cool down animation complete, narga turns 2x-> lvl 3 gs to head.
tailspike even less interesting. What i am getting at is 1. does this method still work? and 2.Is there another way like the aforementioned method to farm him

reason im asking vs testing it myself, i havnt the time nor resources as of late, to make a gs suitable for this.

The HR Nargas have fairly low HP pools from what I've experienced. Most of my time shortening has come from learning which combos to cancel out of (with Hammer) and read most of the tells. I don't recommend trying to use traps for easy damage since it requires you to bring combo books and shock trap parts, but I would recommend a healthy supply of Demondrug and Armorskin which both speed up your kill by decreasing the amount of time you have to be swallowing potions.

You also don't want to obsess over it's weakness to Lightning and Fire too much since it does take every type of element damage and status damage.

Other than that, Narge is kinda straightforward. Not much in the way of wind/current stuns, no stuns, no ungodly resistances, no super-rage-often, super-tired-often gimmick. Just a very fast monster with a few tough tells and relatively low health pool.

Yeah, i used the dios edge on him easy enough. and i made the jho GS and just did 3 runs with it. Sure enough the gs tactic from freedom unite still works just requires more caution as to narga can now link his circular tail swipe onto the end of his 3 lunge combo. Thanks for the info.
Still looking for a faster farming method >.< got it down to anywhere between 15-23 mins depending how much running he does.

anyway im guessing dios edge is a ls so u should use the opening he does when he tail slams to cut it easily (supposing hhe does itt)
break the other parts after this one so he doesnt attack so much with the tail n spikes

Well, there is a way to easily farm him. I've been gunning him with Normal lv2, and he dies in about 5-7 minutes in moga village. I used full azure rathalos and goldbeard ceadeus HBG. The charm should be an attack charm. The bow gun also has deviation to the left, but its nothing bad. Have fun.
