| When the fight is complete - after the reward screen should be another screen or a board that you can go look at next to the quest board in the tavern. This board/screen should show the following information about the last hunt: Damage output done by group members - Raw & Special & bombs. # of KO's # of Stuns # of traps # of criticals # of know downs # of times put to sleep etc... Who destroyed what part who cut off what part who did the killing blow who took the most damage who died
Each hunt should get a MVP award and that person get an extra $$ bonus and HR bonus. This would be so awesome to see for yourself, your group, what weapons you use. Gives good competition amongst friends. and you get to watch and see the really skilled players and copy their skills.
Whatcha think? | |

| The last thing Monster Hunter needs is a bunch of pointless numbers. Capcom has done a very good job at making everything in the game very deliberate and useful, I see no reason to add random stuff like that. I personally hate having every tiny little stat kept on record, makes me too self conscious :U. The little counter for quests complete and usage of weapons is probably the most that MH should and will have in it in terms of stat tracking. Not to shoot down your idea or anything, but that's my opinion. | |

Not to shoot down your idea or anything, but that's my opinion. This. The game is already too elitist as it is. We don't need things that will promote that even further, I know for a fact it would make me even more elitist than I already am.

| Performance reports can be fun at times i'll admit.
With what evil said the idea of it is a bunch of pointless numbers, which I agree with in the sense it's not something Monster Hunter "Needs"
It could be a bit of fun if left optional, but yeah definitely agree it's not something Monster Hunter "needs" as suggested in the title.
However I strongly disagree with rewards and MVP though because of how it may be assessed by the system, besides it's pretty obvious whether or not people are an asset of liability during the hunt anyway.
Off topic:
In response to Arken I don't really feel that the game itself is elitist, if anything the community is elitist because they choose to be, the remedy is to stay humble and keep and open mind.
The game is more about learning and adapting, at the very end game you can say it's more about elitism cause there's not much else to do other than to compete with fellow hunters.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that, totally right. Although with what OP said about copying peoples' skills, I find I learn the most when I play this game solo (and of course when I ask for help from here). There really isn't much you can learn from watching people in MH, especially since during a hunt you have to focus on the monsters too. - DaniChi wrote:

| I don't like the idea of showing who did what, like Ark said, it can promote elitism. People being called noobs for low damage done or no kos, among other things. | |

| I could see this leading to hunters with HR gear, following HR1-2 hunters around getting 80-90% of all damage, breaks etc and basking in how awesome they are. | |

| As has been stated already, having this information is not a way to get further enjoyment of the game. It will instead foster animosity among those who already believe they are doing more than their fair share by putting numbers to it.
Multiple people are contributing to each of those items you mentioned, and giving credit to the one that did the blow that KO'ed a monster, or did the final blow, or the one who is better geared, or the one with the most hours played, and hence knows the monster better, is not productive.
If you are all together in the same hunt, then you all get the same rewards and props. Good Hunts all around.

| Teamwork > Competativeness...
what the OP sugests is great for an FPS and should remain there for those who want to play an FPS or a fighting game.. Not Monster Hunter. My Opinion.

| Oh god no....score boards? ur asking to be flamed mate. no way in hell would a score board be usefull in this game. it seriously would do more harm than good. maybe if you got your own individual scores that only you can see. that would be enough. | |

This, more like a way for you and just you to get better, like after you did a run (like err smash brothers?) you get at the end all this info so you can see if you got better. But sitll you can see if you get better or not with this: - Check your time after you beat the monsters. - check how many potions you used and compare how many you used the last time that means you got hit less times. - If you play with minions chacha and kayamba check if they survived. And of curse, - If you got a set of certain monster well that is a way to say you mastered that monster. (or eather got lucky and got enugh materials in the first run lucky you). Want to see if you got really good? do naked runs!!! There good idea for solo, not good if it's a scoreboard for the reasons everyone already pointed out.

| Like most have said leaderboards would not go well with this already harsh MH community.
If other players knew who did more damage ect. they would not hesitate to belittle their team members for how bad they did or how good they did. It's already bad enough within speed runs people posting how "pro" they are because of how fast their speed run went.
MH is far too random for that to ever matter sometimes the monster ai can make it difficult or just human error.
MH is difficult and a co-op game it should stay like that it should never be given leaderboards and such or the co-op will eventually disappear, and everyone would be competing instead of cooperating like the game was originally intended.
This why most of us here had fallen in love with this game where team work is key and competition is left out the door.

Watching as monsters drop left and right due to the overwhelming power of your team. Although I will admit I've had upswing battles in area 7 of the flooded forest ^ last one standing when everyone else has been swung off the waterfall wins :D

| I am ultra competitive and I have found that things that motivate me... others dont like.
I would use it to motivate me, and to see which weapons did what vs what mobs.

| I loved the stat system thing in brawl where, when you were finished, it showed ko's, damage, etc.
However, that's a competitive fighting game, not a cooperative experience like Monster Hunter so..... No.
