| See topic.
What I have personally disliked, and almost hate back from MH3 was how many larger monsters know how to employ gangs...
For example, Great Jaggi's howl calls every Jaggi and Jaggia in the state (and other Great Jaggis if you are in the Moga Woods and there are more than one GJ at that time.)
Royal Ludroth knows how to summon an equal number of smaller Ludroths.
Of course, Qurupeco knows the value of gangs - when it performs its Great Jaggi call, of course, GJ's entourage shows up with him...
Gobul tends to have plenty of Ludroth with him, also.

| I actually don't mind the gangs, they add a manner of realism to the game. I hate underwater combat though. Hated it in Tri and really hate it in 3U, but that's because I suck at it. | |

| Personally, I do not like the "unrealistic" adds to a fight.
A Barioth gets into an area to eat Popos, and i smack it away... then here come to Popo to smack me around while I fight the Barioth... I mean, seriously? This is your natural predator and you try to smack ME around?
Then there are the Apapnoths, the Bhanara's and such. They have no bussiness what I carry since they are vegitarians, yet they insist that i should not have an egg in my hands.
At least the Jaggies, Wroggis and Baggies know to hide when a big monster is in the area... o no wait, the monster just tripped... lets go in and smack the hunter so he can't go up to it and plant a trap.
lol, honestly its a bit funny, but the programmers I am sure put in a "troll" program in every single monster. Put a trap... change zones.. ect, ect.

| The online system is garbage. I don't know why they didn't allow the host powers to pass on instead of BOOTING PLAYERS OUT OF THE SEVERS.
Plesioth's tail spin is fucking long
Alatreon spams flight mode. Getting a lv3 charge with GS on turn is a hassle because his head never lands in the right place.

| I hate online mode when you get booted when host leaves... and I hate being the host because I feel rude when I want to go to bed and I have a good group... sucks!
I hate the fact that I get crappy charms. I think I have a bad table.... my friend who is HR6 already has legendary charms and hero charms.... I am HR40 and have literally zero legendary or god charms.... I hate capcom for this crap. Make it like Tri jerks.
Lastly, the monsters are way to easy. In tri- Jho use to wipe the floor with groups that were only "good" - you had to have SOME skill to beat Jho. I can easily solo him in this game.

| You should have been able to import tri saves!!!
Its like losing your save and restarting all over again. It should have just been an expansion like Unite. I want to just play online, but i must beat offline first, its just what i do.

| The text is too small. You can't search people on the online. You can't message strangers on the online. You can't see the quest people are doing when you are in the port and other people are on a quest. You can't send private messages. You can't see if someone posts a quest when you are on the marina, so others might just leave you (and you can't know if they actually left on a quest or are all at the marina untill one of them sends a text). You can't have a profile (I loved that on tri) I feel the game is really nerfed for a G rank game, the game is not made for 4 people to murder a beast but rather 1 or 2. The host thing. The online could've been a lot better, I feel it was a lazy creation :/
What I do like about the online is that if you dced you don't get kicked out of the quest like you did back in tri.

Uh - guild cards are the new profile. Just about everything you could do in the profile, you can do in the guild card. I think the GC is an improvement over the Tri profile. My list: - You can't check all the room occupants prior, just the host - it would give me a sense of whether I'd fit or not.
- The host leave = DC.
- When joining a room, not knowing whether the other hunters are on quest or not. You can check before joining a room whether they're on quest, but half the time, they depart while I'm connecting.
- Explaining that Guild Cards != Friend List.
- Nerfing LR. I should have had more difficulty learning new monsters like Duram. That didn't happen until HR new monsters.
- Nerfing Village HR. I'm decent, but there's no way I should be able to down Jho in <15min while in HR gear (Dios+ Axe, Plesi armor). I'm not THAT good.
- Arena S rank is too easy to achieve. I struggled to make S rank on Tri, even just a few months ago. I'm already 4 for 6 for making S rank.
- No language indicator for cross region play. Or for that matter, in region play. Maybe one day I'll learn another language to the level I can game, but for now, I don't. My language skills are limited to variations on "Mas cerveza, por favor!"
Frankly, most of my complaints are about the online play. The hunts themselves are good, and gameplay itself is fun. As someone stated in another thread, a lazy port is better than no port at all.

| -Shoehorned online mode for a port of a game that is meant to handle 2 or 3 people --The community's general regard for online play as a key feature, future MH titles are likely to contain online content, but for the sake of design, those games will have to have challenges designed for 4 people- While these games do not. -Slime status --Specifically that monsters don't have a varying resistance to it, and the proc cares more about how many hits you get than the quality of hits made, making for some particularly stupid weapons in the Dios Blades, Kelbi Bow, Dios Gunlance (and to a lesser extent) Dios Longsword. -Lazy programming, and no attempts to fix --Locked charm tables, items made inaccessible etc.
-People comparing this game to Dark Souls, Dark Souls is very very very good, but a holistically different type of experience than a Monster Hunter game.

Disagree, profiles were something that ANYONE could see and I liked that. Guild cards are nice for people to see awards, monsters size, arna and weapon use, but the description part is awfully short and just the ones you send your GC to are allowed to read that text. Also I hate that the WiiU friends list is the same friends list for the game, I feel like the Guild card system should have been the friend list for 3U. Other complain about the GC, since you can't search for people online when you get a GC but you don't friend the guy/gal, there is no chance you will see them again.

Uhh... No they aren't. Those are some pretty god damned good pieces of equipment. My stygian zinogre GS has more raw than the Dire Miralis GS as well as a good bit of dragon element, and my armor set has Peak Performance, dragon attack +1, evasion +1, focus, and critical draw.
