| There is no best armor. The point of armors is to give armor skills that improve the efficacy of your damage out put. If you give me the weapon you are currently I may be able to suggest easily obtainable sets, and also how far you are in moga/port. | |

| Armor with decent defense and, if possible, lightning resist. You are a hammer user, right? Higher damage or focus would be nice to help you pound his head better. It is really easy to break his horns underwater with a hammer. | |
