| Hey all, great forum you have here. Just a quick question - if myself and my brother each had a 3DS and a copy of the game, could we play multiplayer together without an internet connection?
Thanks in advance.

| You only need the Wii U if you want to play online. The 3DS version you can play locally with other 3DSs or a Wii U. | |

| For the record, is that local multiplayer between 3DSs the full range of quests or is it something like the Tri local multiplayer was with just the arena? | |

| It is supposed to be identical in content to the Wii U version. | |

Local play between two 3DS's means you can do any quest in the port, including arena.

| Port quests online multiplayer or offline local multiplayer are all the same. You do not lose any game content in any way. You can still download event quests, you can still get Hunters for hire (streetpass with 3ds or conecting multiplater) and you even have a few additional options such as alerts telling you is people you have the guild cards of are also in range and playing and a local search function to see if anyone else within range is playing MH3U....
This comes in handy is you are at events and stuff. I use it a lot of times as many people in my area have 3U for the 3ds.
So you and your borother should be playing all the time and have your Streetpass active all the time just to automatically get updated Guildcards.

| Do they have to be of the same region? As in, can a US version MH on the 3ds connect to a EU version MH on the Wii U? | |
