| I just fought him and poisoned him using the lucent naga gl...I didnt know he could be poisoned. Does anybody know if paralysis/sleep work on him either? I checked the wiki but it does not list what ailments he is susceptible to. Thanks in advance. | |

| Interesting... hadn't even noticed that the Brady Guide doesn't have any info on the Dire Miralis either. I would be curious to see what others have found out on this as well.
My understanding was that Elder Dragons couldn't be trapped... but they could still be affected by status ailments. Not going to say that he for certain can or can't be Para/Sleeped. | |

| I haven't tried this myself, but I think since you've poisoned him with a GS and that elder dragons like Ala can be affected by Status Effects, Dire could be too, however I'm not certain, but you can always find out ;D | |

He said GL not GS. Aside from that I wouldn't bother with status ailments too much in solo but would be great in a team. And ares replies like that often make me wonder if the definition of troll has been lost with it's overuse. | |

If you'll recall, people made a huge deal about sleep bombing in MH3, and whined and pissed and moaned about it because it's all anybody ever wanted to do.
