MH4U Complaint Department

First topic message reminder :

I figured now would be the perfect time to start a complaint thread about your experiences with Randoms as I have a complaint about them already.

Anyways, in the Demo I set up a room for Tetsucabra. I get 4 people and as I'm choosing weapons one of the people leaves booting us all from the server. I hate that!

This problem only occurs when its Raged

Lets chose your own adventure:
It charges you,
if you try to run to the right of it, Super peck (pretty damn big hitbox for the move)
If you run to the left of it Tail whip.
If you run away from it, it does a lunging peck.

Then it does its screaming fly back,does a dive attack with tail whip (ala Rathian) which poisons. and while getting up/delayed wake up from the dive it either fireballs or runs up and super pecks.

Oh and fighting it with Challanger. The Red light ALMOST never turns off. I swear its rages more than Tigrex.

Oh My God. I never want to fight it again!

The worst part is I don't even have the Guild quest G rank yet! Its level 67.


Maybe I'm just losing my touch? Hitting a slump these last few days.

I know G rank solo is really killing my motivation, but I don't get much opportunity to play online.

Run & Gun with GS and Eva+3 = dead Yian Garuga.

Garuga was a big problem for me in MHFU, but not so much in MH4U only because of the incredible evade timers that Eva+3 gives you. Even without Evasion, however, Garuga is a chump vs run & gun (Go up to it, forward slash and dive under its legs, sheath and look for next opening).

Now that you mention it, i really didnt have a problem with it when i was using the Charge blade.... maybe i just need a change of weapon.

G rank is still mopping the floor with me.

Yeah why not, When I finally do get to play in group its not so bad, but Elder Hall..... I just cannot solo it.

And to further throw fire into how upsetting the Urgent quest system is:
G1 Urgent is Sereg right? SO Ill find rooms for him right?

WRONG! I can find rooms for ANYTHING G rank except Sereg... (oh and Gog since I haven't fought him yet.)

SO I cant find rooms for Seregios. its Not even on my Target list. This Urgent Qeust thing is easily one of the most infuriating things about Online.

Firpi, look for rooms with "Looking to raise HR!" as their tag, they'll usually be doing Urgent Quests, if not key quests.

I have yet to kill a Lv126+ Guild Quest monster. I'm alright at fighting them, their new moves are interesting, but good grief, they can take more punishment than Gogmazios, meaning that I'm going to screw up eventually. Worse than soloing MHFU's G-Rank quests, and that's saying something.

There is nothing wrong with reveling in others misery every once in a while.

My problem is that I have had a room on farming G-Rank, Expert, Hunting/Slaying, Kecha Wachas, Experts needed. I had Low Ranks and High Ranks joining in and I double checked it. Is that like a bug or something?

Low Rank and High Rank haven't unlocked the Elder Hall. Gotta select that.

Looking at so many of the complaints here, I realized that I've had a really good experience online. I very rarely get kicked from a room (It's happened maybe once?), and I've never needed to kick someone from a room either.

Then again, the rare times I play online, I usually play with people from the forum.

I usually find random people.

Im finding that out real quickly ahaha.

I have about 3 or 4 of every other Worn weapon, but I just can't seem to get a single Worn Long Sword...

Finds out that lvl 80 something through 120 something gives them in the rewards
grind a lvl 1 Kut-Ku up past 100 to get none
Look again
Only hard monsters hand them out
Ffffffffffffff.......

Four hours of my life I won't get back.

Easiest way of getting them: do low rank dahren mohran event quest and hope for armor stones in the rewards, you get 2 per reward square. Use those to make true armor spheres by combining with meldspar ore (i think, might be wrong about the ore name, make sure to check it). I made a bunch of true armor spheres this way.

You won't get a ton of armor stones, but most armors only need a few true armor sphere upgrades to get to strong armor sphere level.
