Lao Shan tips

Hey im about to fight the lao shan in the gathering hall high rank urgent. thing is i dont do ad-hoc so im probably gonna fight it alone. Any tips for me? This will be my first time.

My armor:
Full Cean: Sharp Sword, Shapening sword inc.
Full Soul rath with gariga mask: abandon +1, att up small, HGE
All these armors are upgraded as high as I can

Im a hammer user and part LS user.
I have anvil hammer, dead revolver, hard bone hammer and black hammer
I use black LS, tormentor and Devil slicer LS

Any tips at all help

Probably not, just make the full Diablo D set that he uses for all 3 lao shans and goto town with a hammer on his belly, easy kill

awesome thanks man, i just killed it but with full cean set and hard bone hammer. kinda differs from the guide but it worked :D

Whatever works =P

I do advise making the full Diablos D for future lao's though, being able to spend 100% time triple pounding the belly makes killing him oh so easy no matter what rank he is.

A good thing is that you dont need a high value of armor when fighting lao shan.
Best armor sets is those which adding damage dealing ability to your hunter.
To low-high rank lao-shan level of sharpness & dragon attribute are not so necessary, you can easily repel it. You dont even need to fire from cannon if you want just to repel him.
I never tried to kill lao, but repelling is enough to clear the quest.

im just REALLY lazy when it comes to making armor to deal with around one monster
