Well, i'm not really bashing CoD fans, but the series in general kinda dissapoints me. They basically just pretty up the graphics, slap in some new levels and then put it out. Though to be fair i have that grief with alot FPS series.

Hate to be bias here but...it's a CoD game...of course it's going to be a disappointment. Especially in Multiplayer...

Sorry but Killstreaks were one of the worst ideas ever...yeah put in a game mechanic that gets you free kills (attack helicopters, bombing runs, etc) and makes it impossible for others to catch up to a "good" player in score. Then to make it worse...okay you want a game mechanic to have killstreaks for "fun" fine...but then it's the community of CoD players who won't shut up about "OMG MY KDR IS SO GOOD, IM SO PRO, YOU NOOBS SUCK"..again...sorry but a game getting kills for you instead of you and your gun getting all those kills is just BAD game design.

Also the way their Perks system works...it usually ends up being that only a few specific few perks and perk combination's are viable or you end up having a performance issue when fighting. That isn't a good system...just ditch the Perks along with the Killstreaks I say...maybe then the game would be "good".

Also...it's released by Activision who owns the company, Infinity Ward in this case, that makes the game...so of course Activision with it's greedy ideals and abuse of the gaming industry is always going to keep ensuring we get crap...in-fact. Call of Duty is the franchise Bobby Kotick wanted...something that can be exploited with a fast made, cheaply produced title, with a clear and guaranteed near yearly release of a new one to milk consumers for their money while making the cheapest product possible.

You sure you quoted the right person hicc? Because YES, it's bullshit, but i don't care. If you'd wanna be realistic, you'd have to play operation flashpoint, heard that was very much true to RL. But hey, where is the fun in shooting covering fire you KNOW you won't hit anyone with from 100 metres?

Okay, that might be fun, but cod is funzy to play, most people agree. The 1 year interval is kinda dumb though. If i had a good pc, i would've bought Cod MW1, and i'd be ready to buy another game...this year, or maybe last year.

COD always had shitty storymodes... or more like most FPS.. barely takes a day. Takes like.... 7-15 hours to finish a story.

As for multiplayer, I only like to play it with real people. 4 split screen, NO BULLSHIT xD like... we do a blade only run lololol

*knife hits INVISIBLE HITBOXES or backpacks

also if thier wearing stabproof vests how can a dinky knife go through?
and i dont think bullets can go through a wall ne?

1. Totally agree, invisible hitboxes suxor.
2. Not sure you are using "BAWSS" correctly.
3. Bullets do go through walls IRL.

If they want COD to be realistic, they need to give hit points. Not regeneration shit.

How many missed fatal shotguns can a guy take? but one knife to your foot and you're dead.

Not having played mw3 itself makes it harder for me to explain this, bi as the cos series in general has shitty SP and a suckish MP filled with cheap tactics and one shot kills. and lets not forget those quick scoping bastards or those dual revolver hoes. Anyways, CoD will neve be realistic, at least not anytime soon. I'm not saying this because I have a natural dislike of the series cuz tbh I was happy with mw and mw2 but once black ops came out I was epicly disappointed and decided to stop playing. The only cod related thing I do now is occasionally play some cod waw zombies on der riese with my uncle.
Also I'm not a halo or battlefield supporter, I'm just not feeling for the new FPS games.

I'm liking MW3 so far. Nothing in the multiplayer seems to be incredibly OP yet, and nothing has aggrivated me other than campers and connection issues, which are going to be in every online multiplayer FPS. My only problem is that the shotguns feel like they were nerfed too much. Maybe it's because I haven't bothered to go for the damage proficiency yet, but right now a sniper rifle is more useful close quarters for me than the shotguns are.

I'm afraid I can't live with this game.... So disappointing.... BATTLEFIELD 3 FTW

Im not disappointed so far. its been great experience for a first timer like me. Too bad there are not that many gun selection that i had hope for D:, But I like to make people rant LoL, its more funnier when they have a Mic as well.

^ Being able to hear the person you just killed rage is the best thing ever put into a CoD game ever.

I love the campaign and spec ops, but I hate the multiplayer. It's been the same for 6 years and the only new things are the guns. I'm glad I got BF3 instead xP currently rank Colonel Service Star 5 (Rank 50)

EDIT: Although I do love making kids rage on CoD, you don't see many kids playing BF3.

For me, its story was kinda bland and I pretty much had that "been there done that" feeling most of the way through.

I like what they did with the specialist package in online, but I feel like the support one was just a crutch catering to the retarded people who don't know that charging in guns blazing is not the best thing ever. I was pretty disapointed with the perks. A few seemed dumbed down for no reason, some were just plain useless, and stalker is just broken. I don't even get a chance to pull the trigger sometimes when I turn a corner and find a person using it. I also had a moment where I planted a claymore in a doorway as an enemy walked to it and he just casually walked up and knifed me.

Like black ops' zombie mode I really only liked survival mode. Had a good laugh when I learned one of the enemy types was a dog with C4 strapped to it.

it is a shotgun solution for quick play and instant action, and as a hardcore gamer who wants deep games, I don't find it satisfying at all...plus, anger based online games really make me...angry. I dont play games to get angry, I play them to have fun, and if I am angry more than I am having fun, it is a shitty game...my opinion.
