| An almighty, powerful beast, fast as lightning and... really knows how to piss me off.
I've gone through the battle at least three times, and have broken the head every single time. My last battle, I think I actually got it closer to death than any of the other runs. However, as luck would have it, my last flash bomb failed, and while trying to create my last shock trap, that also failed. Twist of fate? Definitely.
So, I was just wondering. What would be the best thunder longsword to get? Eager cleaver, or is there better?
Any strategies I should consider? Like, should I consider using LBB+ while it's trapped during enraged modes to do extra damage while I'm trying to sharpen/heal? Or is that just a waste of time?
I need some suggestions here, otherwise I might not be able to beat this guy.

| When fighting tiggy I always stay between his face and the left wing (your right when facing it) cuz I noticed that before every attack you can roll into the space between the wing and the body and revive no damage (exept for the 360 spin) but I had evasion skill so idk if this info is usefull to you :S | |

I've actually managed to avoid a fair amount of damage by rolling under it, so yes, that helps. Thank you. Also, in regards to the Eager Cleaver; would you happen to know where I can find a ton of easy-to-find Machalite ore? Thanks in advance.

| Well, I managed to find a treasure trove of Machalite in the Volcano area. Thanks anyway.
I also managed to kill the Tigrex in about 18:27, using five flash bombs, three shock traps, 1 LBB+ and Eager Cleaver, along with timed attacks. Seemed to work out flawlessly. Apart from getting hit occasionally and in the end using one max potion, three potions + mega potions.

| congratz, your next pain should be the chameleos/lunastra then, chameleos is not that hard if you keep yourselves on the side and avoiding the poison, lunastra is a pain to fight just for that stupid heat armor... | |

| Well, I don't have to really worry about either for the time being. I'm focusing on getting into the Rathalos/Rathian quests, so that I can farm them and get their armor/weapons. They're super easy no matter how you look at it, so I figure they're the next best target before anything. | |
