JUMP Quests for us ?

Yo ! I've been watching some MH3U videos on youtube and nicovideo, and i noticed there were interesting JUMP quests, SPOIL :


Like JUMP Jinouga, omg he hits so haard and got so many HP !

And i've noticed there was a stylish pirate armor and GS. The problem is that JUMP quests, at the old time on Mhfu and MHP2G, were only on the japanese game, MHp2G. There wasn't jump/famitsu quests for european people.
Thats why i'm now asking, does someone know if we're gonna get these quests too ? I hope so ...

We usually get same quests but different reward. Meaning we never get same event items such as weapons and armor.

If i remember well, in Tri, we had the same event items than they had in japan, didnt we ? oO
I remember the pirate slashaxe, for instance. Inuyasha too etc.
When i think about that, i realize that there is no reason for capcom to not release these quests in european's game, but still ... it was the case for 2G, maybe because these quests are too difficult for " us ", so they prefere give us easier things to do. I remember that crazy JUMP teostra in G..
Whatever, i'd like someone to tell me if these quests and rewards are in our game, that may be a great part in my decision to buy this game or not !

We did not have the Pirate J or the Inuyasha in the west at all... We had the Sinister Saints:

we also had several other "FAN" made ones like the Sinister here in the west which IMO were much better looking than the Japan even weapons...


So yes what we get is different than the Japan company sponsered weapons and armors for events and will be this time around as well... though remember this only applies to JUMP and other "Sponsered" event quest items and weapons. anything that is just Capcom stuff will remain the same.

And the quest "DIFICULTY" is the exact same.... it has nothing to do with that. It has everything to do with sponsership. There is absolutely no reason for an item to be in the west if it is sponsered by a company only in JAPAN. They make no sales or profit from it so they are not going to pay for it to be in the game in the west. The only way we are going to have "SPECIAL" items like that is if a western company sponsers the items within game... capcom has yet to my knowledge ever approched any company in the west or vice versa.


IN short: EXACT SAME EVENT QUESTS JUST RESKINNED ITEMS.

Would be very fitting and pretty cool.. Jones Cola also who did a line of Magic Card bottles in the US but.. it's unlikely.

We see a lot of advertising in many Videogames and Movies, it's very common these days. However, for whatever reason Capcom Japan (though they state otherwise) does not seem to keen on promoting MH in the west or wanting it to becom very popular here in any way. Capcom US and Nintendo EU seem to be pushing 3U quite a bit but they can only do so much at the premission of CapJap. same with Sponsership within the game and promotions outside of it such as with Universal studios in Japan and with the Brady Games guide. How much is in it and what is ultimately printed is at the will of CapJap overall.


Though one thing we have already seen that is an improvement over Tri with 3U is the announcement on the Numbers of sales and though CapJap may still not recognize them for as good as they are.. they are quite impressive when compared to the big titles released over the past 2 weeks.

In the UK MH3U came in at #7 and in the whole west Monster Hunter 3 accounted for almost half of all Wii U software revenue last week. It was actually stated at 55%.


And when you think about it that was with little or no actual advertising outside of the internet/word of mouth.... Imagin if they had actually had commercials or sponsers like in Japan...



Also: No Senes, no Pirate armor.. Capcom has yet to release any images of what is replacing it here in the west. If they stay with the Sinister Saints theam as they with with the Switch axe.... It may be something quite interesting though. Death Armor perhaps.

Is it possible to buy the japanese version of this game and to play online with them AND with european people at the same time ? I dont think so but maybe someone has found out a way to do it.... =/

Is the pirate stuff the only thing you like, wait until you see what they are giving to the west you never know what it could be.
