Hi, I've been a huge fan of Monster Hunter ever since I accidentally stumbled upon it on the PS2. I've tried many times to convert my friends in to Hunters but with little to no results. Now I turn towards this community because i'm tired of always doing offline quests and doing G-Rank quests alone. (although now cha-cha and kayamba help a little)

Currently still doing Village quests on Monster Hunter Ultimate 3, but i would love to meet up with some hunters in the future to trade hunting cards and just enjoy the multiplayer experience. /yes/

hey all i found the forums by looking for some item info lol. Thought i would sign up and try and make this a nice home and meet some fellow hunters.

bit of a background i have been playing MH since the ps2 days. Got highest HR possible ran Lao 500+ times and solod Fati naked and also ran naked runs with him with fellow hunters. Played every other MH since they all released.

I played the original monster hunter, and used to play online multiplayer on MHTri, but stopped playing for a while. But I'm ready to get back into hunting on my Wii-U once ultimate is here. I've been playing Monster Hunter since it was first brought over on the PS2. I can honestly say that since then its been one of the very few games i would do almost anything to play, including purchasing a Wii U purely for the game. Its just sitting there collecting dust until next week... I've played all of them that were brought to the states, MH, all the freedoms, MH3, was hoping to get portable 3rd HD for the PS3, but this will do. I've spent the last few days planning out the weapons and armor i'll be going after.

My name is Aeoneth and while I'm not new to monster hunter it has been far too long since I last played.

I got started in Tri and managed to get to HR31 before I found myself unable to muster a group together to do the Jhen Mohran urgent quest. Alas my free time was cut down and over the next few years I was too busy to return. Now I have time, and an inclination to rekindle the lost flame.

A couple of your names ring bells in my head, but the big thing for me here is that you all seem quite level headed compared to many...

Okay, let's get this introduction post over so we can have some fun shall we?

I'm a newer member to the MH world, I recieved Tri as a random x-mas present picked up from the cheapie bin last year (had the sticker on it still). I ignored it at first because of that, but I caved in after a few days to give it a fair shake....after realising I had been killing monsters with an oversized hammer for 4 hours straight, it's safe to say I was hooked.

I'm more of an nintendo gamer (how convenient eh?) but I would have totally considered another console purely for monster hunter....

Is anybody out there?

hi to all in the community i am a new player to the monster hunter games , i once played monster hunter on the psp nd thought what the hell is this , but less than a week ago i got tri and i have to say i am in love with this game i am currently on barroth and not even faced him yet but read he can be a hand full whoopee me gonna be fun .
but anyway hopefully will get monster hunter 3 ultimate soon cant wait

Well it is evident that Capcom has decided to use Nintendo as their MH partner. MHP3G coming out for the 3DS but it will not support Online Play like MHP4 will. I was wondering 2 things.
1. Are there any hunters in the Augusta, Ga general area. I moved here from Miami and have been having difficulties finding fellow hunters to play with. If you are interested dont hesitate to PM me!

2. Do we have an the ability to get MH on the 3DS to go online? Does anyone know if there is any work being done on this? Kinda like xkailink *I think its called, its been a while since I played MHFU...
