Well the bad news (for Sony) is that the PS4 will not be released in Japan until next years, still this year for the rest of us though. Saddly though it seems the japan sales are what matters in the videogame world.... Though I don't think this will be much of a problem for the PS4 in the end.
But even though Japan gets a PS4 delay they and all of us will still be seeing a Sony home console launching soon. Sony has announced the Vita TV.
http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/09/ps-vita-tv-launch-date/ BAsically it's a device you connect to your TV and conect a PS3 controller to it to make it a (non-portable) Vita home syatem.
It's adds a few things such as the Sony Music library but still requiers a Vita Memory card. All in all though if you are willing to drop the portability and want to play vita games at home, the device costs $150 with a controller and memory card. or $100 without anything else.
It's only been officially announced for Japan but is likely to hit the west as well.
So what do you all think? Nintendo announces a 3d-less 2DS and sony announces a portable-less Vita...
