I'm assuming this is a spin-off of the Zelda franchise, and I must say, the combat looks amazing. It would be cool to see these kinds of moves were implemented in the upcoming Zelda HD, maybe as some learned technique such as the golden wolf from Twilight Princess.

I'm hoping Link isn't the only playable character.

It seems like Link is the only playable character with a lot of different weapons.

It is actually a cross over of Zelda and the Samurai Warriors games.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai_Warriors

Samurai Warriors along with Dynasty Warriors has been quite popular having many crossover to include the DS game "Pokemon Conquest".

There has also been a 3DS Samurai Warriors Chronicles.

The company who makes the Warriors games is also making a "Monster Hunter" like game for the Vita called Toukiden: The Age of Demons which is releasing in Japan and NA, and later in 2014 in EU.

Zelda Warriors is predicted to be one of the top seeling warriors games at this time due to the popularity of both the Warriors franchise in Japan and Zelda globaly.

The footage shown is more reminiscent of Dynasty Warriors, due to the faster pace and wider camera. Samurai Warriors has a more zoomed in camera and a much slower pace. SW also has a much wider enemy variety, so it looks like we might be getting the best of both worlds with this game.

Hopefully this means when Warriors Orochi 4 comes out on WiiU, we can get both Takamaru and Link in addition to everyone else.
