| Current metacritic score is 87 with 11 positive and one mixed review. Discuss the reviews that the game is getting here. Do you agree with them? Will they affect if you are getting the game or not? | |

| This should be called Review-Review Thread (or Meta-Review Thread).
Metacritic isn't a reliable source, because it's subject to getting bombed by users that are angry for one reason or another - TF2, for instance, has been causing shitstorms for a while. Just look at the expectations for the End of the Line update and what people got. There are probably going to be a bunch of jerkass/dumb reviewers anyway for MH, because it's "too hard at the beginning", or they simply don't bother playing past the Great Jaggi (I'm staring at you, Yahtzee Croshaw).
I'm gonna get MH4U regardless. I mean, after having tried the Demo both offline and online, there's no way I'm passing this up, because it's hella fun, moreso than MH3U has been lately. Something about three-dimensional combat really makes things interesting. (I'm now thinking Pokke Mountain would've been an awesome hunting ground if redesigned with MH4U's mechanics.)

| The Demo has already sold me on this game, and that doesn't usually happen. ^.^
The reviews don't matter for me, now.

| I view reviews when I want to get information about something in particular, when I have no other way of seeing it for myself. I see all perfect reviews with little content as fanboyism, and very poor reviews with little details as to why as garbage. The gems are those that fall in between, and can give me a good idea of what to look forward to.
In the case of Monster Hunter however, I know that it takes a bit to rise above those first hurdles, and learn your weapons/monsters. Neither are forgiving, but once you get passed that, I dare anyone to find a better game. This is something that unfortunately many do not get passed, and they see it a bit more boring that it actually is. It took me several hours to "get" the game... but I have been hooked ever since.
Reviews are not going to change my mind anytime soon, although I wish professional hunters would be the ones giving their reviews instead of these greenhorns who are paid to play only a few hours and then put their reviews.

| Mr. Stark: I believe both outfits can be used with both blade and gunners, however if I remember correctly Zerosuit is for females and the armor is for male. Also they have the bowgun that goes with the armor and I think guns that go with Zero suit. either weapon can be used but they look better with the main ones.
^ don't take me 100% on this as it's been a while since I read about it.
