FOE for Mh4(Hated and Worst Monster)

First topic message reminder :

So..i just got the g rank a few days ago online. So far i usually kill things in one go or two,but lately there a monster i have yet to beat. I was wondering, whats your worst monster to go against,and which one do you hate the most,and why? For me

Worst:Rajang, since im too scared to go near him in rage mode

Hated:Gold Rathian, since it needs a high level of sharpness and the poison is just..ugh..

He uses his beam to much when your far away :'( As well his hit range is insane!

I personally find his beam a great move for the hunter as it's not hard to avoid if you're watching the Rajang, and you can get in extra hits if you're up close to it.

The moves I hate the most are it's zig-zag moves and it's sudden hop-back-kill-you-half-way attack that gets me far too often.

Yeah, he is a little much at times.

It's what I use on stuff where there's literally no opening to attack them because "that makes it hard"

not really, it just means I can never attack and thus should just stop playing

Haven't used it much recently because I don't have a good armor set for SnS yet (want to have a really good status set to use, but i will need to grind for the armor pieces most likely.)

Apex..i saw a video of apex rajang of when he pulls out some of the ground to throw it at you.They truly made rajang more fearsome then he was...How does one avoid a chunk of earth being thrown at you? Btw,can someone explain apex? i knows its the virus on a extreme level,but i would like a better understanding.

According to the story, the virus turbo charges monsters, but it wears them down and evetually kills them.

Apex are monsters that dont die from the virus, they keep getting stronger, and stronger, until they are the top of their food chain even above their own kind.

At least that is how i understood it.

It's basically the monsters doing the same exact thing you do when you overcome the frenzy virus. They get a crazy buff, but theirs lasts until they die.

This, but almost. It lasts until you knock them out of it using Wystones, which is often possible before they die, as Wystones are specially crafted for use against the Frenzy, and are the hunter's best "cure" for going against Frenzied and Apex monsters.

Thanks for telling me. That would explain why apex rajang was able to throw half of the earth at you. So who is worst,Raging Rajang or Apex Rajang?
