Holiday Game Downloads

With the holidays upon us many people will be getting gift cards and download cards galore for their favorite systems or services.

To help I thought we could recommend to others some of our favorite download games that you probably can't find in store. Indie games and classic remakes and any other game that is primarily download or download only from PSN, Steam, E-Shop, Playstore, App-Store, X-Box and so on.

I'll get it started with some portable gaming downloads to take on the road.

PS-Vita:

Not so much just a vita game but a PS1 classic. Xenogears is one of my favorite games and while the graphics show their age it's still a fun game to carry around and play.

Vita also has many RPG's and unique games not found anywhere else. Monster Monpiece is an.. interesting but addictive card based game. And for side scrolling fighters the Senran series on vita is one of my favorite.

If you have a 3ds instead... The Guild 01 and 02 games are the only way to go. GET THEM ALL. They are a collection of indie games made by many famous designers from Japan. Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, Crimson Shroud, Weapon Shop de Omasse, Attack of the Friday Monsters!, Bugs vs. Tanks, and The Starship Damrey. They are fairly cheep games but often on sale.

I like this idea keep it up :3.
I got a e-shop card from my mother funny enough so i picked up Shin megami tensei 4 it's a lot of fun.

List of "Must Haves" for RPG enthusiasts with a PS4:

Final Fantasy (any and all of em)
Star Ocean
Xenogears

Very time consuming, but worth it.

^ Fun fact. Xenogears was never released in the EU due to it's content. Even now it's not on the PS store there.

Even more of a fun fact. Xenogears was originally submitted to be the 7th game in the Final Fantasy series. Square (at the time) Thought it was too dark however and had another team make what is the current FF7. Several parts of the script however were still borrowed from Xenogears and there is even an Easter egg for Xeno during the scene with Cloud in the hospital.

Another good Play station 4 game to consider is Bloodborne the combat is fast and heart pounding, it's really hard but not unfair and It's dlc while not too long is amazing! The only thing I don't like is how annoying it is to summon your friends to play with you. I would also say Dark souls 3 but unless you have never played any of the games or only played two then it's really good but nothing too different.

I can definitely agree on the guild games! great and unique.

for 3DS I can also highly recommend the Pushmo (Pullblox in EU) series. they are great puzzle(platformer) games with a great level editor and many many great user created puzzles availabe online (I also posted some of my own MH themed ones on here some time back).

also for some quick and cheap fun I can recommend Witch and Hero and also the second part. they cost like 2 € and are on sale a lot.
