Flashbomb is about the only thing u can do. You can try diffrent armour like rathalos armour. I dont know what blue claw blade is but im guesing its sword&shield. Try devil slicer (long sword) If you cant get thunderbug juice get dragonmoss or dragonwood (sry cant remember) and trade one of them to veggie elder in mountains. You,ll get thunderbug juice. Dont no if that helps though.

I'd say either SnS or LS for Tiggy unelss you're more experienced at it. Tiggy requires you to be pretty quick on your feet and GS doesn't let you do that.

If the spin attack's the problem, try a sword and shield. You could hack away at it, and when it's about to spin, you could block it, and start back on chopping away again.

Ah the Tigrex urgent...I remember that (recently got my hands on F2)
I beat Tigrex with Ravager Blade+ and full Hermitaur armor. Took me roughly 10 minutes (and yes, Flash Bombs work wonders on him).
Like the above poster said, however, if you don't feel confident in GS'ing Tigrex (especially in the smaller areas of the Snowy Mountains, like the peak, where timing and distance are absolutely crucial for victory), use a SnS. Or a longsword, for that matter. If you can manage it, go for Eager Cleaver.

I used a bow to defeat the Tigrex on "Absolute Power" the bow had thunder since the Tigrex is weak to thunder .I also used sleep arrows and put bombs around the Tigrex's head and shot the bombs. I climbed up on a ledge so it can't reach me. When it left to sleep in the cave I put more bombs around its head and climbed up on the tree too shoot arrows at the Tigrex. Till it died, Well "Happy Hunting"
