Diablos (+ Other Big Wyvren)

I've killed Diablos, Monoblos, and Gravios just fine before. My question is how do I kill them faster. Last time I hunted Diablos, it took my 40 minutes with LS and Black Gravios took just as long with bow. Here's the gear I was using:

Diablos:
Blango Destructor
Full Ceanataur S
Skills: Attack Up Med, Sharpening Inc, Sharpness +1
Items: Sonic Bombs

B. Gravios:
Blue Blade Bow II
Ceanataur U
Skills: Reckless Abandon 3, Reloading +1

I'll also use Full Rathalos Soul armor occasionally, but I've moved on from that armor.

I know when to use the sonic bombs, and I make use of poison coat with Black Gravios. It just takes way too long to kill them. Any tips? Hammer guides would also be helpful since I'm trying to balance LS with Hammer. Thanks.

Use pellets. A hevy bowgun. Fire away at tail. Should take no more than 7min to kill a G ranked blos with a load up/pellet up set

Don't use just sonics on the Blos. Bring Shock Traps and Flash Bombs, same with Grav. With the Blango Destructor, you should be able to take out Blos pretty fast with the traps and Flash Bombs. And as for Gravios, I'd try bombing it if you're gonna use a bow. Or do what haruno said. But bring Shock Traps for both fights, and the materials for more shocks. Same with bombs and such. And as for a hammer guide, just youtube it, and it will be there. I hope this helps ^^

RGNK Hermit, you forgot about pitfall trap/s. Its useful against gravios.
Hashbrowns, just reminding that diablos are immune to pitfall traps.

So, with shock trap+pitfall trap+2trap tool+2 net/genprey fang you've got 4 traps in total.
Its a good idea to have some combine books in backpack.
If you have enough free space i think pitfall traps are more usefull,
but there are bigger chance of combining fail.
For shock trap you need only 2 books for 100% combining them.

And doy you know a little trick? There are special rocks (big stones) in some volcano areas
which will explose if gravios will run into it. You can place there some big barrel bomb
and just stand before them. But be aware - he can blast them by his beam.

Don't even bother wasting time setting shock traps on blos. Since him jumping out of the ground destroys them and standing behind traps while waiting for him to charge is retarded. Like i said just use a pellet gun and rape him. Here's mazereon pellet spamming G ranked devil diablos in 14min

Preciate the advice and video, guys. I've never been a fan of using too many traps, but I'll try it next time I BM a diablos. Tell you how things go.
