| ceadeus tail.... been farming for them and only got two (from the repel only quest)
in the decisive battle, I've broken his tail numerous times and never got a tail.... (do i actually have to go to the tail and carve????)
(got deep dragon gem almost very time..... and 2 elderdragon blood in one run too...)
or does the repel only quest (save moga village) have a higher drop rate???
MAJOR BAD LUCK? | |

MAJOR BAD LUCK? Breaking the tail give you a 78% chance to get one in the break rewards according to the wiki.

No, the only way to get high rank gear is to complete high rank quests, which are only available online. Will the high rank armour/weapons I create online be available offline afterwards? And if I farm high rank parts online, can I take them to the Wyverian Artisan offline for forging? I'm presuming so since high rank upgrades are already showing for me when I visit him

Nobody is going to answer? /versad/ I am fairly sure they do actually deal the same damage to hunters, but it's modified by armor. Try it out, use a leather armor and plant a LBB+, and you should die, or at least almost (happened quite some in low rank with people planting bombs without warning). However, if you use high rank armors, bombs will deal only minimal damage.
One thing to note is that you always get hit by a single bomb. If you use a small barrel bomb to detonate 2 LBB+'s, you'll only take a few damage, because you'll be invincible while you're flying around.

- How do i go about getting a rusted hammer??
Get a lot of rustshards (which you already posted 2 threads about, so you should know how) and pray. I'm not aware of the rustshard becoming rust weapon %, but even if that happens, there's still 80% chance that it will be a different rust weapon, and not a hammer. Hey thnx ill do that. my dad got rustec hammer and wouldnt tell me how /no/ |

| HR43+? Get to work on Barioth+ (all round), Agnaktor+ (Lance) or OF Lagi. Blos is good for GS. | |

| You'll probably have to use vangis or helios+ for that. And you're gonna need to be hr 51+ in order to get them.
A mix between bari/agna can make for a nice hybrid lancing set. But that's all i know without using endgame gear. Most of the armour has enough slots to gem in any B skill anyway, as long as you have a charm to go with it, so i don't think you'll benefit that highly.

| Got a bowgun question. I'm currently using two bowguns: Jaggid Fire/Thundacrus/Thundacrus and Poison Stinger/Barrozooka/Thundacrus. Which one is better? The first one is for pierce lv 1 as a maini shot and RP Thunder once i run out. The second one uses Normal lv.2 instead of RP thunder. Have in mind that i don't combine for extra ammo because i don't have the resources to do so. I use them to gun ian+ now and then, but want to make it usable for other monsters (which is why i made the second bowgun). On the first one, i would change for R. Ludroth barrel if the monster is weak to water, but i don't have the other three RP elements. Can anyone answer? Or does anyone have another early HR bowgun that isn't very difficult to make? I'm getting mats for my first HR armor too (Probably Jaggi+), and then i have to make a HR gunner armor, so i don't want to spend too much time farming. Thanks in advance!!! | |

I cam gem deviation+, so that shouldn't be a problem (I can't gem in pierce boost nor pierce up anyway, since I don't have any charm with those skills), leaving small recoil left/right, which is negligible. So, should i keep that gun?
