bottom screen will focus the camera on the monster or some nonsense.. if you actually read it all, you would have seen that."One new control feature will make use of the system's lower touch screen. By touching, you'll be able to make your character automatically turn to face larger beasts." ^ pretty stupid if you ask me.

| Yeah, I don't like it. I don't even like the idea of it on the DS. I don't even like the 3ds. However the majority of the forum will hate me for even talking against the 3ds. So whatever. | |

| All the marketing for the 3ds is essentially "hey we're remaking games people used to love, not being innovative"
The 3d gives me a headache. 3d in general is pretty lame. It's a DS, ooo ahhh I already have a DS. Touchscreen technology is loosing it's luster. It just isn't a great system in my opinion. The only "new" thing it brought was the 3d. The little joystick is meh. I dunno. Just not the system for me. And people hate/think I'm crazy for having a differing opinion.

| I've tried it on multiple occasions and it is a strain on my eyes and gives me a headache.
Anyways... getting off topic...
I wont care all that much just because I don't have one Monster Hunter game IF this one gets a US release.
Not like I will die. I'm holding out for a new console game.

| if it's a carbon copy of tri it's gonna fail........... Since without weefeee all you get up to is caedeus and if you do have weefee it'll probably be at home or somewhere with a tv so OMG you also can play your wii with tri instead, =X | |

| It is supposed to have some new cover monster... "improved" under water fighting but wifi if supported will be really limiting cause you'll have to be home anyways and basically its just Tri.. I doubt it will be any harder and I'm going to just throw it out there, on a smaller screen, I'd rather just play Tri on my already established Wii character than go through it all over for maybe one or two new monsters. I doubt they'll pack a ton in because its all going to be on a little DS cart. So you can throw out bow/DS/GL, cause they would have to rework them for underwater. | |

| I'm not expecting much from this version. And I think it will be laughably easy. Cause from history alone, there have never really been that many hard games on a DS. For some reason skill just vanishes when it comes to a DS game .-. | |

| Skill in video games? NO WAI!!! i mean to us peeps skill = OH MAI GAWD NO WAI U HEADSHOT HIM WIFF DA SNIPA RIFLE WITH NO SCOPE OH MAI GAWD OH MAI GAWD U SO PRO!!!!!!!!!
so mehs.......tri was pretty forgiving damage wise. Same with p3rd...... so mehs they're removing the new monsters from 3rd and using all of tris monsters with a few extra from the sound of it. Best part? No offline guild hall

I like guild halls, they are all cozy and stuff :b

| But cat cooks scatter when you give them bad ingredients... not much room for error in a hot spring.. haha
I don't like offline in the MH games, cause with crafting/your box you have to run back and forth. Tri online was great, all in one place. And since most of this game will mostly be offline, it will suck.

| ^^^^ Nice combobreaker~
And... omg, my dreams have come true... and on the night of my first (sort of) Jho kill... wtf is this crazy stuff? xD
Okay, not freaking out anymore. This seems to hint that they're NOT abandoning water combat in the series, they were just tweaking it... or maybe it's just back b/c of it's predecessor. But an expanded version of this game on the 3DS (which I bought for full price when it first came out... silly, I know, but w/e) is incredible! I only hope this comes to the west, instead of staying in japan.

3DS game cartridges can store a hell of a lot more than a regular DS game can. Besides, the game is supposed to feature 12 weapon types. Last time I checked, that's the same amount as in P3rd.

| Wow........ Chahlz, stop whining. If people didn't do stuff like this we would all still be playing Tetris. Wait until a game has been released to bash it. I'm looking forward to this. If they refine the underwater combat a bit, bring back the absent weapons and make them work underwater, I'm happy. | |
