First topic message reminder :
So it is to be espected that Tri G will have the underwater game play. Just out of curiosity what older monsters do you think would fit in well with the underwater levels? Also, what additional monsters will be added that wasn't in P3rd. I really exspect to see the games to be quite a bit different from each other.
I hope to see a Raviente Subspecies for underwater battles. Maybe one that comes in and out of holes in the side of a cliff.

We know the one on land is the sub, but the one under water appears to be a regular Lagi.

I would like to see the Yian Kut-Ku, again... It would be nice to see even more old monsters appear.
It would be good, but maybe will happen as P3rd that there are just gen 3 monsters, new 3 gen monsters, the only ones of previous gens were Tigrex and Nargacuga so its a little difficult

Yes Hic you are correct. they are in P3rd... I guess I think of non-subspecies when they say "new" monsters or monsters from a spacific game as all those are subspecies from Tri... But yes they were in P3rd.
Thinking about it though any monster is new to the west basically since the p3rd game was never released here anyways..

I'm really looking forward to this game but I don't think they will make many new monsters if any because this is a 3rd gen game and new monsters is what mh4 is gonna be for.
I can't wait because most of the P3rd monsters are coming back!!! In 3d!!! It will be awesome and I have all belief that it will come to the west. They can't deny us p3rd monsters twice, and this time it's with nintendo not Sony.

P3rd Monsters were new Monsters on that game and was still in 3gen, so maybe they will make new Monsters in this... probably

While the newer subspecies are confirmed, the newly created monsters (hapurubokka, doborberuku, ect.) aren't. It'd be a shame if they didn't show up. Same with Tiggy, Narga, and their respective subspecies. The whole game would lose a lot of potential.

I dont know about you guys but i'm just praying for a brand new Elder Dragon, or at least an appearance from amatsu even though he isn't that cool. But what mainly excites me is the fact that there will be so many quests, I always thought Tri needed more dual monster quests and now they are probably delivering just that :D

I also forgot about akantor and ukanlos. They aren't really needed but, once again, it would be if they want the game to feel on par with mhp3rd. I also forgot that hapurubokka's bow is visible in the trailer so we'll probably get him, and maybe the other new ones.

Pfffftttt we can have both. Heck the 3ds cartridge can hold 4x more data than a wii disc (or so I've heard) so we could have lots of new and old monsters.

I think that there will only be one or two new monsters because they will be saving most of them for MH4 but I think there will be some new subspecies.
