| More monsters from MHP3rd rumored to be in (I say that because I haven't seen any Famitsu scans with this info yet.) I've also put my opinion on why the rumors make sense. Aoashira ( Implied from the addition of Urcusis) Dosufurogi ( Implied from the addition of Furogi) Hapurubokka ( Add more Sandy Plains monsters to offset the Tundra additions) Nargacuga ( Big surprise to me. Maybe Tigrex is a shoe-in?) Rangurotora ( Implied from the addition of Urcusis) Doboruberuku ( Monster added for the Mountain Stream area) Jinouga ( Another big surprise being the flagship monster for MHP3rd) All in all, this is starting to look like if MHTri and MHP3rd had a baby called it G. Any other predictions based on this info? Source: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/10/18/more-monster-hunter-portable-3rd-monsters-confirmed-for-3g/ | |

| Why do we need subspecies of monsters we here in the west haven't even gotten to play yet? The idea is nice and all but honestly all p3rd monsters that were not in tri are new to us. lets get those first. I would be happy wiith getting the game at all and worry about new stuff in MH4. | |

Hapuru is practically confirmed, the bow used in the TGS demo is his. Seeing as all new Portable 3rd monsters are there, I'll say Amatsu, Because he's the final boss, and they brought ala into p3 so they'll probably bring Amatsu into 3G. Just my idea.

If they're gonna make subspecies, now is the time. After each gen, they usually ditch all the recent monsters, keep the mainstays, and make most of them new.

I personally agree with Dcj, I just hope they bring over the P3rd monsters since those are technically new to us. I wold honestly be fine with TG if alls they did was add in Brachi and a few other monsters and turned up the difficulty since I loved Tri but started losing my love for it once I got into the higher ranks and found that, so long as I had good equipment, I could beat anything with ease. I also kind of hope they leave out Amatsu since his moves were so unoriginal (Lagi's move set) or if they do bring him back I would want to see him completely re done to actually be a challenge.

Most of his moves, other than the charge and basic movements, were pretty original. I agree on the difficulty level; I especially hope the newer monsters are stronger than in Portable 3rd, pretty much everyone got nerfed in that game. I'm also fine if the only new monster was brachi, because the main potential in this game that I see is the inclusion of all the 3rd gen monsters in one game.

Most of the returning monsters have recieved upgrades to their move sets and the difficulty has been improved. You now have, regular, High and G rank.. The regular is what you had in the offfline of tri all the way up the high is what you had in the Plus levles, and G is above that... and there is suppose to be a bit better and more optional ability of event and download quests. so it should be a bit better on keeping you involved in that asspect. also with a lot more monsters and a lot more armors and weapons then tri or 3rd from what they are saying even in single player it should be just fine to keep you playing for a good long time.

Everything from Tri is in Tri G. Ehm alright if you say so... but still, weird they haven't been confirmed when the rest of the tri monsters have been. And I was kinda also hoping some more new additions instead of just brachi and to certain extent plesioth. New monsters are always cool. Least give us a new elder dragon capcom. D:

| just a few questions and comments:
1. How many of you have played portable 3rd? If you have not played it then (more monsters and new monsters really shouldn't matter as if we do get 3G in the west then any thing aside from the monsters in tri will be new to you.)
2. There are monsters other than those from p3rd in the game. Lagi sub, Yoshi, the tri monsters, the older generation monsters and along with those that are from p3rd... by my count that actually puts more monsters in 3G than there are in 3rd.
3. How many of you own a 3DS or plan on buying one? How many of you know what all a 3DS can do? Even a lot of people who own a 3Ds do not realize all the stuff you can do on a 3Ds and what it is capable of. I have yet to go a day since I bought it without picking it up and many of those days I may not have even played a game. But regardless, there is going to be a lot more that you can do in 3G than you could do in p3RD that I don't think people are taking into account. There is still several touch screen options (such as the video camera) that have yet to be explained.
4. Though I do wish this game makes it outside Japan we do not yet know that it will. There might be some hope we find out it does tomorrow but we are not for sure. But since it will be coming out in Japan in December we should be finding out a lot more information soon.
5. Don't exspect the same battles you found with monsters from other games. They have already confirmed that many of the monsters have been updated with new movesets and that many of the repeat moves on multiple monsters have been done away with or revamped. Meaning not as many monsters will have the same moves. Also rathian will have more moves as well... with more air attacks to make ranged weapons more useable and needed...

1. I've played it up until about 5* Village Quests and then just stopped because of school. I'm just surprised that so much data (monsters/subspecies/armor) are being included on a 3DS cart. 2. That's right and I've also noticed something else. If you look at the monsters page on the official website you can see separate tabs for each new monster to this generation (Tri/P3rd/Tri G). There are enough pixels left over for exactly two other tabs which could mean that there are still 2 more monsters left to be introduced for this generation. 8) 3. I have one since launch and I don't regret it at all. I always take it with me to campus and I still get Streetpass tags. I don't play it everyday but I do spend a good amount of time on it. 4. I hope for the same. This is at the top of my most wanted games list for the next year or so. 5. I'm excited for the new strategies and moves. It's great to see that it won't be a game to just add monsters, but to improve upon them and keep it fresh. :D
