Well, the game WAS only announced yesterday...
Guess we should wait a bit. If no confirmation is made, commence raging.

Not much actually. He get's very little additional information than anyone else.

But I am sure we will soon see "Release TG in the West" groups popping up soon..

Also, it will be on the 13th during Nins conference when a release outside of Japan will be likely revealed.

Isn't this whole, "Not planned to be released out side of japan" kinda the usual thing?

Wasn't tri the first MH Game(besides MH1) that came straight out about a western release?

Yes it is.. The usual and no. Tri was also stated at first as not having any plans to be released in the west.

They're just trying to rile the MH Community, I'd say. CAPCOM don't seem to like the MH fans of the West for some reason, and hearing that just a short time after it was announced just makes me think they're saying it for the 'lulz'...

I do have an interesting question though for everyone.. somewhat related.

Nintendos conference on the 13th is set up to be live streamed and translated to all of it's sites throughout the world. If Nintendo is opening up the conference for everyone to see, why would they announce any games in that conference that most of the viewers will not be able to get?

Just thinking. That's mainly why I think we should hold off until the 13th to say if it does or does not have a chance to come out outside japan.

Oh and just one other thing to add. It was Nintendo who oversaw the release of tri outside of Japan not Capcom. Nintendo took over the marketting for it as well.

TGS stands for Tokyo Game Show. It's in Japan. Why would they care about us?

Nintendo is holding a conference on September 13th to talk about plans for the 3DS in all regions. Nintendo has stated that this conference is apart from TGS though many of the announcements will affect TGS as well. Nintendo will stream the conference throughout different regions and will also provide translators.

So rest assured the information they plan for the conference is intended to be for more than just the Japanese public.

Nintendo has shown it cares many times. The rest of Tokyo, who knows. But as stated nins conference is separate from TGS.

I have faith in Nintendo myself as well. If anyone is going to get this game to us in the west, it's them. I personally have minimal confidence in Capcom bringing it over, but Nintendo has a lot more weight to it so it can easily push it on Capcom, which is likely seeing the worldwide release of an accessory for their handheld. They don't have any other games lined up for it yet. It all depends on what they say on the 13th in my opinion, the odds are good.

Put it like this - Nintendo will want to localise this, Capcom - sorry, Crapcom - won't

It was actually the same with Tri. all the marketing was done by Nintendo, NOT Crapcom.

Capcom is starting to do better, I mean they are planning on localization (well it's on their minds) for MHP3rdHD

I personally believe that operation cherry blossom is a success even if it does not get MHP3 into the west because it has shown capcom that we are very much interested in the monster hunter franchise and reminded them that there is a fair sized western fan base which may encourage them on future releases such as MHTG
