3G for the west

So it looks likely we will be seeing 3G in the west.

Since they're giving all of our old stuff back, i'll probably start off with dual swords, get in to hunting horns and gunlances a little further in, then once some good equipment becomes available start using bows quite frquently.

You can say if and still have hope. It's not like you're completely disregarding any chance of localisation, just acknowledging that it's possible Capcom won't.

In MH it has already happened a couple of times. Like with MHdos, Felyne Village and obviously P3rd. We aren't that sure if Capcom will bring 3G here, so don't say when basically. This makes me think on how the japanese people are a little too much greedy on bringing their products here.

Yeah, but just bein logical here, the chances for us to have MH3G are higher than our chances for MH4, simply because MH3 sold fairly good in the west, but capcom will still do what they wish, and right now, it can go either way, all we have right now is hope, and in the end we'll either have the game and be happy, or we wont have it and we'll all be pissed about it and rage sayin "IT'S P 3RD ALL OVER AGAIN BUT WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO PLAY IT ON MY WESTERN 3DS!" or some shit so...

About 4... Not even the japanese people know anything about 4 by the time being so.
I also want 3G a lot, but we can't still say that it is 100% sure we will get it. The chances in a number would be like 65% imo

You know, Nintendo is trying to bring previously JAPAN ONLY games over to the west and they have braught a lot of them over. Just all of them have been from Nintendo companies for the most part. But that is good news, with games on the wii like Xenoblade and last story coming to the west, a lot of eshop titles that have started being released that were previously japan only and now games like Pokemon Conquest for the DS there is still hope for other (Non-Nintendo) company games. Nintendo does have a lot of influence in the game industry in Japan so there is hope (we shouldn't take that as confirmation though.)



Any ways, point being with MH3G and MH4 being on a Nintendo system the chances are a bit higher for those games to be released in the west IMO opinion just because of Nintendos efforts to release games internationally as opposed to other Japanese based game companies.

Oh my God...I want this game to be released in the West because that new Elder Dragon has me wanting to hunt it. It's huge and looks closely related to the Fatalis brethren.

I don't see how it could be related to the fatali (multiple fatalis's) but it looks fun to Hunt and looks like a challenge!

I'm taking this as confirmation that at the bare minimum, we are getting 3G, 4, or some awesome equivalent not named Dragon's Dogma.

I don't know. With Capcoms way of thinking they could give us "dragons dogma 3D" and say "hey, it's monster hunter (3DS) for the west, it's just as good for you people" and to them it may seem like charity!

I really really hope Capcom is better than that. Even if Dragon's Dogma doesn't seem that bad. I'd rather hunt monsters, but if they did give DD to a Nintendo system, I'd probably be up for it.

I remember looking at the preview image of a capcom video on youtube. I could have sworn it was MH until I watched the video.

Now, I don't know if they have, but as long as they haven't been going "Oh HEY. GUYS. Isn't this just like Monster Hunter?" Then I think they're willing to differentiate the franchises.
