Why people think bow is for lazy gunner?

Honestly..i went to a lot of forum and always saw some troll topic like saying how bad is bow or bow is only for idiot/lazy gunner..that make me mad.
I know bow raw damage is lower than SnS bt bow got their own benefits.
I honestly think bow is for pro gunner coz due to their low dmg if u cn kill ukanlos in 5-9min you should be proud of ur self.
Bowgun got better dmg bt it hard to use and always get ko by boss when u r reloading.

So tell me why bow is for lazy gunner?T_T..i m a bow user and i was happy coz i dont often get hit by boss.

people who dont understand something will generally mock it or put it down. It's in a humans normal nature. Whether they mean ill tidings or not.

I for one like the bow and it is basically my primary weapon. That and Dual Swords. I pwn like a boss with both 8)

And actually bow seems really more difficutl to use than a bowgun

I have been getting pretty good at breaking hard to reach break points with the bow, like those dern Kutku and Garuga ears. Bow is a very fun weapon to pick up. I think it gets such a bad rap from those guys because you have better mobility than the Bowgun. I suppose the ability to move and fire your weapon is cheating.

hbg > lbg > bow damage wise.

Though bow is a million times safer and evade+2 + bow against rajang is ez mode.

i think using bow is kinda interesting too . but i haven't use it for hunting some big wyvern coz im still not used to this weapon and i don't understand the function of the coating item (still new to MHFU). and i think every weapon has it own advantage . :cheers:

The bow is my primary weapon, and normally the only one I use. I believe that it takes a great deal of skill to use the bow. Too close, you get smacked like a rag doll. Too far, you don't do much damage. Elements, which coatings to use, which type of shots to use, when to use them, all factor into winning or losing a battle with the bow (at least when you run G rank solo). I am proud to call myself a bow user.

I like using bows but I don't think that this game is complicated enough to move and shoot at the same time. An expert bow user will have the timing down to pretty much this: Run around the monster until they miss a move, shoot them in the back, rinse, wash, and repeat until the monster is dead or you almost get hit in which case you press x to roll/backhop out of the bow charge/attack.

I remember using evade distance and I don't think that the game is meant for players to roll that far, seeing that gurenteed monster counterattacks generally miss in a side-roll with evade distance.
