First topic message reminder :

ceadeus tail.... been farming for them and only got two (from the repel only quest)

in the decisive battle, I've broken his tail numerous times and never got a tail.... (do i actually have to go to the tail and carve????)

(got deep dragon gem almost very time..... and 2 elderdragon blood in one run too...)

or does the repel only quest (save moga village) have a higher drop rate???

MAJOR BAD LUCK?

TiroDvD wrote:

Monster Hunter G is the remake of the original PS2 Monster Hunter for the Wii (Has older monsters and no new monsters)

Monster Hunter Tri G is the new 3rd Generation Monster Hunter for the 3DS (It's a different game from Tri, or basically Tri with a bunch of new stuff)

Monster Hunter Portable, such as MHFU, and MHP3rd are the PSP variants. MHFU is like Monster Hunter 2 but revamped with more monsters and armours. MHP3rd has monsters of Tri (3rd generation) and some old monsters as well. Also has new unique monsters too such as Jinouga. These portables are only on the PSP

MHFO or Monster Hunter Frontier was on the XBOX360 and PC. It's a multiplayer MMORPG, with the same idea as Monster Hunter. Simply to put, it is Monster Hunter Online. It has tons of armours, events, new monsters, old monsters, (no 3rd Generation Monsters) and has guilds to join, and chat etc. It's basically an MMORPG... in which it is a MMORPG.

I hope that answers your question.

Maybe I missed it as I am sure it must be posted somewhere but is it possible to change the name on an account? My friend introduced me to this game and it was months before I learned about who SD was or what his alias is. Personally I'm a little tired of having to explain to people that I am not he. Is there a resolution short of creating another account?

well, when i 1st joined, you could freely change your name to whatever you wanted, but as far as i know, you'll have to ask a moderator/admin to approve the name by PM's

Shep trying picking a name and posting here:

https://mhwiki.forumotion.net/t7842p15-ask-a-mod-admin

or try to hunt down a mod the chatbox.

just in case it's a while before the mods check this thread.

Contacting one of the admins through a PM is the best way. Jojo is online at least twice a day, dcj at several more times. Mods cannot change names. Anyhow, PM them with new username, maybe a small explanation as to why? The "ask mod/admin" thread is sorta meant for asking them questions regarding the forum and it's workings...i think.

Ingame? ouch. Well, you may want to PM Stuff or Kholdstare, as they do hacks.

Otherwise, you could resort to playing an alt, and get a hunting buddy to help you speed through low rank.

So the best I can do is PM a mod with a new account name and an excuse. Thanks for the help!

About how many bomb+ does it take to break ala’s wing, and how many bounce bomb+ to brake the other wing?

I have bombardier if it is enough to influence the # of bombs needed to break wings.

It takes 660 damage to stagger a wing, 2 staggers to break. You only need to break one wing to get the break reward.

Against ala, a BBL does 60 damage and BBL+ 112. Multiply those by 1.5 if you have bombardier. So bombardier takes it from 6 BBL+ to 4 to stagger, or 12 to 8 to break.

I knew that but normally I think crag breaks faster?
I knew that bombs were powerful, but I think th chance of missing with them (if you can't aim) is pretty high

Wouldn’t it be 1-3 less than that because the first one to go off would do x2 damage when he is asleep? So would it be closer to 9-5+?

Do u know how much damage a bounce bomb+ dose to ala?

Thanks for the help it is very much appreciated

Only if you're sleep bombing. You can also bomb the wings when it's tripped/KO'd.

BB and BB+ do 20 and 30 damage respectively. Against ala that's 15 and 22.
