| To cut a long story short, I'm re-making a character I used to have, who only uses bone weapons and armor. I'm trying to expand my inventory a bit, and I need your help to help me decide what weapons count as bone weapons.
Items with a + next to them represent both that item and its upgrades. Items with a ? next to them are ones I can't decide on.
Weapons: Quropeco Chopper Wyvern Jawblade + Golem Blade + Anata Boneblade + Bone Bludgeon + Diablos Lance + Diablos Greatsword + Bone Axe Azi Dahaka + All uragaan weapons ? All great baggi weapons ?
Armors: Bone armor Bone+ Armor Dober Armor Skull Mask (Thanks to Quentin)
So, what do you guys think? Are there any other weapons that qualify as bone weapons? Does the Blood Tabar count as bone? I appreciate any input I recieve, I'm really enjoying playing the game like this :D
(If it wasn't obvious, by 'bone' weapon, I mean a weapon consisting mostly of bone :p)

| So...you wish to bone monsters....very interesting. (someone was going to make that joke anyway).
I wouldn't include azi dahaka and blood tabar. There doesn't seem to be much boning to do with them. On the other hand, the barroth weapons seems to bone pretty hard.
I'm afraid you'll be stuck on the actual "bone" weapons a lot though. As for bo(w)nguns, only the storebought light/medium/heavy parts seem to apply.

Yeah, I knew I wouldn't be able to use bowguns when I started, which makes me sad. I counted the Azi Dahaka since (even though it comes from a metal path) it uses pegalcite ore, which the game states as being prehistoric bone, and the blade itself (appears) to be made of bone. (I'm scared to lose my only SnS too). I'll count out the plague tabar though. Barroth's sort of Bone-y, but it doesn't look bone-like, so I decided to count that out. Also, bone jokes circulate around me more than wind does around a Kushala now XD

| These are some sets you can use (none are mixed, all are full sets of bone, bone+ and dober) Beginner http://divinewh.im/s/0_5.O_5.O_4.O_6.O_6.O_0I made it so you would have speed sharpener, as beginning weapons have shit sharpness Post Lagi http://divinewh.im/s/0_5.O_5.O_4.O_6.O_6.O_0This set you can either keep the attack up small or you can gem in crit draw or evasionĀ +1, although out of the three I suggest crit draw as you'll pretty much be using a greatsword from here on in. HR 31-40 http://divinewh.im/s/2.1k.y_w.1l_z.1k_u.1l_10.1l_z.y.y_W.y.yThis set has crit draw, which I advise you use, and divine protection (although divine protection can be swapped for another C skill) At this stage you'll want to be using High Siegliende (P) as that us a weapon that you can make pretty easily. HR 40+ http://divinewh.im/s/2.t_1N.u_1T_1M.s_1U.s_1S.u_Q.aDober armor has crit draw built in so you don't have to worry about gemming it in, the charm is one you can get in low rank and lower high rank fairly easily, but you could also try to get another B skill like evasionĀ +1 or 2. Also remember, at thus stage in the game you'll be using either High Siegliende (P) or High Siegmind. | |
