Good with a pierce gun, and it has some slots. Enjoy. Nice, he could gem in NormalS Boost (Or is it called NormalS +) if he had a 1 slot tali. | |

| For low rank...I guess Lagiacrus - element attack up, normal boost http://divinewh.im/s/0_1q_c.m_Z.X.X_d.1m.1m_c.1m.1m_B.1mI learned a while ago you dont really need the cap with lagi set, you can replace with something like jaggi mask for luck or blast earring for bombardier. Evasion is tricky at low rank, with lightfoot jewels (+3 evasion) being high rank. Oh and without the cap, it only uses 1 horn..which alot of people have trouble with. So maybe that helps. Urugaan - Gives the handy recoil skill, defence up and bombardier Peco - Its a decent starter with evasion and recovary up Rhenoplos - another decent starter that gives the recoil skill and Diablos/bari mix for evasion (there are variations to this set due to its versitility). The blos parts give pierce S boost which is effective on most large monsters. | |

Full diablos with Barrozuka/Jaggid frame/thundacrus stock. Gem in various things depending on your preferences as you have two more armor slots + tali and two slots in weapon. Weapon has shield if you want to skip evasion, you may want steadiness or damage skills, the pierce doesn't need recoil down...it works really well in low rank. The frame is quickly upgraded upon reaching high rank to boost attack even more letting you hunt various things pretty effectively for other gear. It is a pierce 1 gun, so bring combines and it may not be very efficient on the small guys (jaggi, baggi, some pecos). | |
