BradyGames MH3U guide

The online guide is officially out... And might I add its a lot more detailed than you may have imagined!

Not the 250 pages first mentioned but 524!

The price (if you didn't get the free Game Stop promotion) is $14.99 for the digital guide. And it might just be worth it.

The guide covers each weapon, the best skills for each weapon and where to find them. Weapon trees, monsters, quests up to G rank and a lot more.

It covers both the WiiU and 3DS controls nicely and appears to be an update on the brick from Japan just leaving out all the fillers, better formatting, and spacific to the west.

Armor tables and weapon trees are really nice as well as quest lists... What I don't see is ANYTHING..... Dealing with event quests or event quest items.

Aside from that the guide does have a few minor typos and missing pictures but all in all... Is very good. I was actually surprised.

Good, this was all I was hoping for in the guide. and the fact that they doubled the expected page number? thats just awesome xD

Does this come with a 3DS preorder?

I pre-ordered from Gamestop, but I can't figure out how to access the guide. how did you do it?

You have to create an account in Bradygames and go to "My account" and redeem code at the right side of the page.

It's full of errors, mispellings and apparently Hunting Horn has a fade slash now~

It is difficult for me to tell what each weapon upgrades into...mainly because I see absolutely no indication. Unless the gray sections of the vertical line near the weapon images is the indicator.

I've also came across several misplaced images throughout the weapon "trees".

Any word on a physical copy?

That really sucks, its a pain using the digital guide rather have a something I can hold and flip around with

order the digital guide, download the pdf, print it yourself, win. =)

I have two digital guides, and I'm not wasting the timel/money printing it, just disappointed there isn't a physical guide

so, instead of wasting time/money printing it yourself you want to drive to the local game store and buy one? what's the difference?

Printing would take hours, I dont have the printer to do it, if I tried with my printer it would cost a crap ton in ink cartridges, and it would never be the same quality as a produced hard copy, and it would prolly cost way more than that if i tried to get it printed elsewhere

A physical copy would be like 40 bucks, would be fully printed and bound, and wouldn't require me to run a noisy, broken down, overheating computer, or a tiny 4.5 inch screen

Plus (at least to me) its INCREDIBLY easier to flip through pages than to type number and try to remember where things are in a pdf

Well, the guide is mostly pretty bad. Typos, the weapon section, etc. However... the armor section is better than what the wiki currently has.

^ For those who got it Free... it's a great guide. it does have some useful information here and there and if you are able to put it on a phone that has a PDF reader.. it's useful from time to time.

I wouldn't print it... I looked at it and compared it to the JP guide, really no better or worse than it. all the JP guide has more than it is JP spacific stuff and events such as the Unerversal studios and a lot more pictures... Nothing really more than that, maybe a different formatting.

It is missing the event quests stuff..

The only thing I would have liked is to see the weapon trees - I'm having a hard time figuring out which weapon leads to the next in the tree. That would make it easier to determine which weapon path to pursue.

Or at least a simple "from [insert weapon name]" in the forging ingredients
