I actually attack the braces even after they broke just because it's harder to get hit by the Jhen there. It's more common to fall off the braces or get hurt when it violently moves its head. The best place to attack Jhen is the holes on its back. Jhen's mouth is the weakest part but you rarely get a chance to attack that part. You can't get hit if you hide inside the holes. Plus, the holes are close to the ship so once it starts the queue to get off Jhen, you have enough time to get off. there's no need to hit the holes in his back anymore, as there's no real leftover weakfin spot left there anymore(I think...). The fin is actually a very good hit zone this time around, with a decent 35 hit zone, it's viable to just keep slashing and slashing the fin when you have a good weapon. No need to hop off(which everyone does because Tri) You also can't get hit by Jhen's Ram when you're on the side of his fin that doesn't connect to the boat. With the 35 hit zone, it's best to strike the fin than Jhen's arm on the 1st half of the battle.

An excellent 60 Cut zone (55 Impact)is too good to skip out on. The absolute best area to attack Jhen is the inside of the Mouth. With a hit zone of 90(80 for impact), you're dealing the game changing abount of damage on Jhen at this point. Carve at your own risk, because I'm going for the kill lol To add to the Belly's significance, attacking the belly will reach a threshold that will topple Jhen, exposing his mouth. This makes attacking the belly the MOST Viable thing to do during the final showdown phase.

I always attack the fins before the final showdown and then attack the arms during the final showdown.

The only reason I tend not to attack there is because how easy it is to get hurt and either sent flying or knocked down, which just hurts how much time is left.

Stay near the armpits and not in front of his belly. This way you can strike his belly with much less fear of being hit. And get used to Jhen's stepping pattern. When you know he's moving, get out of the way. He walks at, like, 7 feet every 5-7 seconds so it's not hard to see him moving. You have to take risks to be the most efficient against Monsters.

| hosts that quit without giving you a chance to go back to the lobby first. have been having that happen a bit lately, finish a quest and by the time I flick through the rewards screens the host has already quit and I get DCed.
Because of course waiting around half a minute is just too long :/

But Low Rank Barioth armor against Brachy? *bursts out laughing* Decided to abandon the quest for Brachy armor, which is a damn shame because I had 3 pieces already. It's just that Uragaan S Armor seemed to be less trouble, especially since I got a Gaan Ruby on my first go without really wanting it. Thing is, now the game refuses to give me Gaan Marrow (in spite of both damaging and cutting off the tail) and seems to be a bit more than stingy on the Carapaces - it's all Scales+, Scutes and Jaws+. Oh well.

It was his overall skill at the game. Considering that all of your teammates died, I'd say he was doing pretty well.

| It's funny when I think about it but I bought the 3DS version on launch and made it through Low Rank and a bit of High Rank in the village before tackling online. By the time I could get a WiiU and the Wii U version of the game I had High Rank Brachydios Blademaster and High Rank Uragaan for gunner so I was well prepared for Low Rank and High rank online. | |
