| So basicly I need to hunt a Zinogre, but don't know if i'm ready. I took me about 40 minutes to kill Brachydios,so I don't want to take as long as I did. Right now I have a full set of Volvidon armor+,but no ice weapons(I'm trying to figure out which ice weapon I want,if you want, please tell me which ice weapon is best suited for this fight.)I want this fight to be smoth and clean,so,anyone got tips? | |

| I used the ice LS, but just cause I used to kill it with the same LS back on P3
it depends on your type of weapon.

| I like to use all types of weapons, but it really depends on my mood...(I know its strange, but thats just me) But I mostly use Great sword,Switch Ax,Long sword,Lance, and Hammer. Gunlance sometimes, and I rarely use dual blades and sword and shield. | |

| Jinouga(Zinogre) jumps around like a cracked up Yoda. In my experience, any weapon with good mobility and some good dodging skills is gonna be his worst enemy. | |

This. Also, the barioth lance does a number on him. Once you get used to his attacks he becomes really easy to lance.

I'll try to get the ice lance,or GS.Thanks. Zin's weakness to Ice isn't actually that pronounced. I'd highly recommend your best overall weapon over making Ice weapons specifically for the fight. Zin takes every type of element damage except for Lightning and doesn't have impressive resistances to status effects- so almost any well upgraded weapon will do (unless it's Heaven's Thunder or it's equivalents.)

Not really good in the long run, but you'll get better at it. I'm assuming you have rank-appropriate gear too (i.e. best ice lance you can get at village 8*) Jinouga is tough at first but once you learn his patterns and such, he isn't that hard.

| I killed him in about 9 minutes with ice ls the first time. The only thing you gotta watch out for is when he turns super saiyan. His claw pounds are easy to dodge if you time it right. Bring flash bombs and use them when he is charging up to knock him out of it. You're priority is to not let him turn into super saiyan | |

| In my personal opinion, if you can take down Brachydios, you can take down Zinogre. To me, it feels like Zinogre leaves himself more open and more predictable than Brach. Don't use shock traps, though...you'll pay an arm and a leg if you use it incorrectly. | |
