High Rank Azure Rathalos and Silver Rathalos Farming

I have come to the determination that I need armor sets with extremely high fire resistance since one of my G Rank Urgents will be Akantor. I was fighting a High Rank Azure Los today and with my Hornet S Armor his fireballs were lighting me up like a tinder box. I leaped to the deduction that Bug armor would not be the best choice to fight a raging Akantor at all. I suppose if I'm playing Freedom Unite, these are the two monsters I am most interested in hunting as I would love both their Gunner sets.

Caenataur S. The only armor you'll need in high rank blademastering =X if you intend to gun go for shinobi heaven

I just want Los though. I'm not going to be in High Rank very long so I'd rather go for something else. I plan on making G Rank Conga armor then.

TBH at G rank full armor sets are a joke unless we're talking about Elder dragon armors.

If you just use something simple to get like Kut-Ku X until HR8, I can give you some neat armor mixes avaidible at HR8. My current one is Sharp Sword Sharp +1 RA+2. Also have Guard +1 Sharp Sword Sharp +1.

Also, if getting Los for HGE, then as haruno once said don't do it. If you're going to melee akantor, HGE is rather pointless as its roar knocks you back. The knockback area is rather large too and there are safe spots you can run to right before he roars as to not get hit by a fire geyser.
However, if bowing him... I guess HGE might work...

you only need conga Z chest in hr7.
Hr8 you should aim for caen Z
Hr9 get w/e =X

I like full Armor sets and that's final. Yeesh! I do not do mixed sets at all unless it's an unfinished set I'm currently making. This is just how I like it. Unite is overly complicated as it is (Unlike Tri and Portable 3rd.). Don't complicate it even more for me. I'm focused on one thing only and that's making Azure Los Gunner for the Fire resistance so I stand a fighting chance against Akantor. It's this sort of stuff that makes me want to seek out that Hack Cat for Unite...

making armor for resistance is just............retarded. No matter what armor you wear you'll get 1-2 shotted as a gunner GUARANTEED. So stick with shinobi heaven since it's the best full gunner set in game. And how is this more complicated? This is far simpler to give armor sets since you don't need to rely on OMGWTF charms =X but like i said shinobi heaven gemmed for evade+2, elem attack up and speed fire makes it overpowered =/
