| Did some Jhen, and then some double trouble to try and get the ian plate/some more ian rubies. Got a los ruby instead and a ton of conqueror's seals. Don't need any more los rubies ever now, but I'm not going to complain about that. Just need one more earth dragongem and 6 Jhen shells to get all the jhen stuff I'll ever need too.
...But for now, it's time to farm for items and run the uroktor quest solo for spending money to buy more supplies. Fun times! | |

| I haven't written one of these in ages... - Spoiler:
So anyway, I had a fun Tri hunt yesterday.
So, I arranged to meet on MH with Zero Flare and IaintElmo on MSN. I did some restocking a few days ago and a little more before starting the hunt so I had plenty of supplies - well over 1,000 honey, about 250 Lifepowder and nearly 150 Dash Juice, for instance. When we were all on and in a city, soon afterwards Black TheLance came on and joined the city. I hadn't seen him in forever so it was quite a surprise.
After a bit of chatting (we're really talkative when we're on Monster Hunter for some reason) we settled with an Alatreon hammer adrenaline fight (except Zero Flare who has yet to get the testicular fortitude to try out adrenaline :3). However, that was a bit of a failure because the instant we came on, I realised I brought one Smoke Bomb instead of two, when I needed two for adrenaline, and Black's Wiimote batteries conveniently ran out when he was standing near the lava to get his health down, so he restarted his Wii.
In the meantime, Elmo had to shower so while he was showering, Black came back and him, Zero Flare and I went for a Double Trouble match which we won somewhere in the 10 - 15 minute range, which isn't bad considering we were all rusty! When we got back to the city, we tried a proper Alatreon adrenaline match. Elmo started the quest and I instantly noticed that I wasn't host because even after I Superpounded the Alatreon twice at the beginning it didn't stun like it was supposed to.
I died first because the lag messed me up, and Elmo died shortly afterwards. I was actually going to die a third time because I dodged into the Alatreon's attack (which was intended for someone else) and then, being the troll that he is, he went to shoot a fireball at me while I was getting up. It would've killed me had Zero Flare not chugged down a Lifepowder in the nick of time!
A few seconds after that brush with quest failure, the Alatreon was killed and I got a Skypiercer. We got back, we did a Deviljho in a pretty good time. Zero Flare had a hard time hitting the Deviljho's head (she was hammering) which was no surprise since the Deviljho's head is by far one of the hardest to hit. Despite that, we did a decent time. Black was using adrenaline (oh gee I would've never guessed :P) and he didn't even get hit once.
We got back, Black and Elmo had to go which left Zero Flare and I on our own. This, of course, called for an Alatreon duo. She sported full Vangis with Barbarian Sharq (P) and as usual I had my Helios/Vangis set with Devil's Crush (P). We won in a great time, got back and before we ended the hunt we did a quick Rathian match in the Arena.
My record was 4:37 with Florenz, and for ages I tried to beat that time to no avail and I thought that we wouldn't beat it but to my surprise we did with a good record of 4:20. WOO. We both used Longsword and although I very rarely use Longsword I didn't do that bad. We would've done better too if the Rathian didn't conveniently shoot a fireball right at the bombs we had set for it.
After that we both went to bed. But yeah that hunt was a blast, I can't wait for the next hunt!

| I'm back! :D
Tried to hunt a jho first with some randoms, but I told them I was quite rusty, because I didnt play in like a month or 3. Anyways, there was one other lancer (wearing agna+) , and when I see someone lancing with agna/bari sets, I'm quite sure they know what they're doing. One other guy had a GS and Jaggi mask (rest vangis) , but he did well (= he didnt launch me into the air and stuff). Another guy was wielding a LS, so it was inevitable for me to not get hit now and then.
I was going to just wear bari+ armor..but I didnt have such an ordinary set in my preset equipments, so I just picked my good old ev+2,ev up, ADRENALINE set :D
We capped the jho in about 8 mins (I put it down as a guess-trap but he just limped into it :P)
Got hit about 3 times by Jho's giant feet, but no deaths so I was happy :D
Then I joined Step and Elmo and Sam but Step described that already :D
Because of you I'll start huntin' again :D | |

So I decided to just do every 6 star quest . First, the jho had to die in 3 locations!
We used lotsa weapons for more..DIVERISTY ☆彡
Next was the Double Trouble but that was Ok cuz we were quadruple trouble!
At some point Rathalos-San killed his Waifu with a fireball and later it died to someone's blade u.u
What a tragedy!
During princess pride I had to go and the so I never witnessed what happened afterwards...
I couldn't even say good bye to my famiru !! (=´∀｀)人(´∀｀=)

| I hunted many Jhen this weekend, one hunt in particular stuck out in my mind because of an idiot that was there.
He was wearing black leather pants but only had adrenaline +1.
When I set my first bomb up at corner for tusks, he came up behind me to detonate it while jhen was still underground. He also decided to swing at me while I was in the middle of ballista'ing jhen.
After the fight, I was considering leaving the room to get away from his stupidity, thankfully, he left. Before he left he tried to friend me. Naturally I declined. | |

| Went to do normal Jhen for it's low rank shells, took me an hour to get into a quest. Got all I needed in one quest, I'll wait for jhen+ to get the one earth dragongem I need.
Did a HR40 double trouble quest with randoms before moving on to another room, didn't get anything good out of it.
Did a couple barroth, r.ludroth, and a gigginox. Didn't get even one fearsome maw from carves, but uncanny hide+ is nice.
Short story, I couldn't focus my efforts and couldn't get the materials to upgrade anything I was aiming for. Well, at least Yue yan dao (spelling?) will help me when free hunting, and I have full damascus for looks.
Oh, and after that I soloed a couple peco and a couple mining runs. No wonderful beaks, no ancient weapons, but I did get a handicraft+4 carving-10 charm. Finally a handicraft charm without a real negative skill!! It's only my fourth one <.<

| Did some jumping around today, did some diablos, nox, r.ludroth, and peco. Then I settled down and did a bunch of barroth. Managed to finally get my fully upgraded barroth switchaxe, hammer, r.ludroth lance, and get one upgrade from completing my paralysis spear. Still need those wonderful beaks peco...
Well, that's it for today, besides maybe some more mining for ancient shards. At least it's good money, but it's still annoying. | |
