I know you've already gotten one answer, however, the 5star village quest "Check the Ancient Tower" wich requires you to kill Remobras, rewards Monster Bone +'s as well, and you'll net them faster that way rather than doing guild quests (provided you've not already started doing guild quests). Other than that Ceanataur is indeed a great Village set, however Diablos D (5star) and Rathalos Soul (6star) are better for most quests. - Fire-lord Zuko wrote:

Farming them at the mining spots at the farm as Jojo suggested is indeed the best way to aquire them, and that remains the same all through the game. While you can ofcourse exceed it by mining through gathering quests, simply mining at the farm while doing other quests nets you a sufficient amount for most upgrading needs.

| You have to fight Black Gravios before Terra S. Ceanataur, as he is G** only. | |

| black gravios is actually pretty easy if you dont use a melee weapon or do use one but have the esp skill so blades dont bounce.
he shoots his beams a lot more than gravios so he stands still to be hit more, i fought him first time with a water scatter bow and i killed him in about 5 mins, once i found him lol
he's deathly weak to water.

| I'm pissed with my chefs. Lemme give you a little backstory. I've just unlocked my gaoren urgent in the village, and after watching some videos I decide HBG and heroics is the way to go. So I farm some daora and get the Delphinidae, then dig out my old Ceanataur gunner armour. I then see that I have no cats with heroics as a skill. You can probably see where this is going by now. I hire a heroics cat and start nomming. The cat has three stars in veggies so I keep eating Veg+Veg. Nothing happens. The cat is now level 5 and I'm still not getting anything! Any ideas? | |

It has to master it first before it can use it, take him on a few hunts and he will learn it soon enough.

| not sure if this question is "Stupid" Enough to go here, but eh, im lazy for the time being.
Im currently on 7* felyne elder and 3* urgent guild hall. I cant play online, so would it be better to get to high rank in guild hall and get through that THEN to felyne elder, or should i try and get through felyne elder THEN to Guild hall pretty much start to finish.

Felyne Elder then guild hall. Nekoth's quests are easier, the urgents are also easier (guild has dual Tigrex) and monsters have less hp/defence.

| Hermitaur bow seems to make Basarios easysauce for me. If you keep the right distance, it's pretty easy to move out of the way of all his attacks (He'll often use the lazor attack multiple times in a row when you use a bow too, which just gives you free hits). | |

ANOTHER question:
From what i hear, Damage on Lao-shan and Gaoren doesnt carry over. Yet, i have one thing that confuses me about Lao Shan. Each time i go back to fight him, i find his head broken. Is it just that his head stays broken until i do a run that kills him?

| No, Laos horn/head breaks on the very first flinch you achieve every time.
Edit: for Khezu, a decent Gunlance will decimate him. Poke him when he's not surrounded by electricity, and when he is, Shelling and Wyvernfire work wonders.

| Hrm, About the Lao Thing, Im not talking about the first flinch. When i start out at the very beginning his head is broken.
two more questions:
1) Would Devil Slicer or Centenerain Dagger be better for Double Monoblos Ugent?
2) Whats the purpose of area's 1 and two in the town?

| For Firecell stones, mine at the high rank volcano or send Trenya to the Volcano for 1000 pokke points. Not too sure about rare scarabs, but I think they may be from the volcano too. I tend to just get them from the bug tree and bug spots at the farm, though. | |
