3G for the west

So it looks likely we will be seeing 3G in the west.

Disappointment this morning. Oh well, I'll stay tuned anyways. It would be a real shame not to see this game come to the west. On another note, that Mario Tennis game looks very nice. I've been waiting for a tennis game for a while.

Yeah, no word from Nintendo Direct is a bummer, but yay Last Story?

I'm still hopeful.

yeah, even though i was in school, i was lucky enough to be in the media center during the time, so i still watched it :P pretty bummed out that there was no word of MH, but on the up side the Kid Icarus multiplayer looks really cool!! ^.^

I find it hard to imagine a game company would "mess up" like that. I'd call this, along with other evidence pointing to a EU release, a sort of confirmation for a EU release.

But it better make it to the US too.

Given the amount of rumors going about that say the game is coming this summer, I feel a bit hopeful.

I saw that picture too and it's definitely false about Smash Bros. But I saw EB Games do the same thing when Shadow The Hedgehog was coming out, so it's more likely a space-holder or a early April Fools joke. I don't think the Donkey Kong one besides it though is a joke, and the Monster Hunter one seems legit, but too out of place to say, especially since Capcom still says nothing on it, but it's rumored to be on pre-order, I don't think a store would joke on that. Isn't Capcom have some sort of event in a few weeks? Maybe we'll here something on that.

Well, DK for the 3DS has been announced and Smash Bros for the 3DS I believe has been being worked on for some time now, but still I would not get my hopes up about 3G.

2 more chances though for an announcement. Capcom captivate and E3. But, again don't get excited until we know for sure.

Not about 3G but I wonder if Capcom feels the same way about 3G and mh4 and all MH games or just P3rd?

Capcom has stated before that MH series is too Japanese for the west hopefully their opinion has or will change.

Well, for smash bros to have been made for some time, it would have been developed before announcement (But this is not the case since the announcement of both smash bros titles for the wii U/3DS were confirmed by sakurai that they haven't even started development), or another team that people don't know about have been working on it...

Sakurai probably just now started working on smash bros since his kid icarus game has been completed.

And he said that Sakurai stated, at the announcement, that neither smash bros games had started development. So, until Kid Icarus Uprising was completed, probably no time went into those games. So, the chances of a those Smash Bros games coming out this year are pretty much zero.

I don't wanna be harsh here, but you seemed to have read one little part of my post and NOTHING else...

I read your post. Not sure you read mine as you miss quoted it though.

Also a something to point out. Though MR. Sakurai may have a major development in the game it does take more than one person to make a game and I was sure there were a lot of things before hand he didn't have to have a part in. So even though he did not start work on it until Kid Icarus was completed that does not mean the other parts of the games development he does not have a hand in did not already begin.

So be harsh all you want that does not change anything.

He misquoted you? How? He was pretty spot on.

Sakurai is the developer for those games, while he isn't the only person making it, it would be like construction workers making a building before consulting the architect.

As for the way you structured your sentence about the DK and SSB rumors, you implied that those two were to be believed, but the 3G one should not (Also, DK 3DS has NOT been confirmed by Nintendo. Get your facts straight). Seeing as you said SSB has been in development for awhile (also wrong), that its rumor should be believed. Seeing as the game has been announced, the only rumor is the release date, so I thought that's what you were talking about.

We're discussing the validity of these rumors and relating them to whether this 3G rumor should be believed. This is on topic. (Even though at this point, we've milked it for what it was worth)

As I said worked on and made are two different things. So yes he miss quoted me and July of last year for SSB seems like a while.

I can't look at the link here at work so I am not sure if it says anything about Monster Hunter 3G as well. (JUST MONSTER HUNTER 3G) not concerned with the other games.

Ok, they make no mention of 3G not being legit. So they debunk the other two games but not 3G so, weather that is good news on not I am not sure. But here's hoping.

Well, their point about DK 3DS was known by some for a while, that the box art is unofficial. That doesn't invalidate the existence of the game (though it makes a good cover up).

While the MH3G rumors are mostly EU based. I don't know if Gamestop has operations in EU, but if they don't, I don't think they'd have much reason to debunk the 3G rumor.

I do hope Capcom Captivate has news for us.

I will be highly skeptical of a western release if it isnt' announced by or at E3. If the rumor is true for EU, I think E3 is where we will here the news.

I kinda had trouble understanding the article and releases of games. I see it states them wanting to bring over games with social features, but I wanna understand more on the issues of actually getting them over.
