Same raw, Core has a little more blue sharpness and has dragon element, but impact has 3 slots. I would get impact because Pulsating core's dragon element is beaten down by ala metamorph(which you should make as soon as possible)

| Wyvern fire guns can be pretty neat to try out if you haven't yet. There's a whole topic about it in the guide section. I can assure you it's tons of fun. | |

Been messing with this and yes it is a ton of fun and I love using it with a good team. I use it with Recoil +3 and load up. With load up I think I load 2/2/6 wyvern fire with my gun.

| Alright. I need some Monster Bone +'s for my High Bolt Axe. I've got 3, and I've absolutely no idea what monster I got them from (I have a bad habit of just sending all of my rewards to the box without really looking at them). They aren't from a Royal Ludroth, or a Gobul. I've completed Great Jaggi, Rathian, Barroth, and Qurupeco. Does anybody know which monster I could've gotten them from/drops them?
Also, I've completed the 3-star [Advanced] Agnaktor quest once or twice. Could that have been it?

Id try royal ludroth. On land mind you, it sucks to be new to GS and fight him underwater with it. But on land he has just enough variety to help you learn. Other than that, rathian would be my second choice.

What I did when I was still trying to get used to GS, I spammed "A Royal Pain" offline (cap Luddy quest in Moga), where, if you go straight to area 9, you will fight him on land. You will have enough time to punish him in the area before he decides to go somewhere else (read: water). Luddy's a great practice mob for GS, especially for focus-area training (Head, Mane, Tail). And the Dash Extracts are always nice :D
