| In volcano I usually bring only 2 bug nets because I have to destroy them to make room.
most of the time I just forget to bring any but I use crystal weapons upgrade to (B) version to store charms.

| Merged into the hotline.
Ontopic: Diablos armour has only 3 parts. I'm pretty sure it's the only armour like that in tri, and that's all there is to it. It allows for some nice mixed sets....Wish there were more like it.

| - Release before first flash = basic attack damage (48%/52%). - Release any time after first flash = at least charge 1 damage (65%/72%). - Release any time after second flash = at least charge 2 damage (80%/90%). - Release with exact timing just after second flash (when done correctly shows an extra burst of light) = level 3 charge damage (110%/115%).
Edit:Moral of the story, level 3 charge is where it's at.

| Depends what you want to do with your set.
In general, you want a gun to be good at one thing rather than mediocre at several things. So "all-round" sets like that aren't very good.

| its supposed to be a generic status set using easy to obtain mats (except the rath+ frame) and since the frame had decent recoil on it, recoil down +1 is all thats needed and the reload speed was a bit slow so i added reload speed +1 then i had some empty slot so i decided to gem in bombardier... | |

| Right, but then you'd want to use a different frame like T-rex, and get recoil+2. | |

| Is it possible to get Gobul coins before HR31 online, or before capturing Uragaan offline? I know there is that qualifying time on 3 offline arena quests to unlock dual monster arena quests rumor(?) so that would suffice too, but I'm trying to get guild armor to begin with on a new char.
Edit: Eh, nevermind on this. Just going to play through offline with the char, get more pinnacle when I can.

| Usually the high rank armor is better, be in higher level skills or more slots on the armor pieces. But there are a couple that are better off overforged. Low rank lagi and low rank los armor are the famous ones. Generally low rank guild armor is better overforged too, unless you're a god of not getting hit without evasion skills/have a charm with evade +7 or more. That's about it off the top of my head though. | |

Well, the main thing you should understand is that + armor and overforged armor arent the same things. For an example of this is the rathalos/rathalos+ armors. The rathalos+ armor trades the attack up skill on the low rank/overforged version for esp, since most people prefer attack up over esp they tend to not get the + version. So basically it depends on what skills you want.

It all depends on what you're going for and the armor. If you give us the set we can help you then...

Like Axel said, iot depends on the armor. LR Lagiacrus armor is much better than the + variant, the same can be said for Rathalos armor and Peco armor. Now armors like Barioth, Barroth, Diablos (well Diablos+ armor only gives you 3 extra slots, no new skills), Uragaan, and Jaggi armors are all better in their + variants. (You can get Lagi+ armor because with some weapons awaken is a good skill)

| Depends on the armour. Mostly the + armour will have more slots and slightly different skills, and usually a somewhat larger elemental resistance (bigger +, bigger -), but that doesn't really matter anyhow.
It's definitely easier to overforge a LR armour, so it's often not such a bad idea to do it, at least to get a set with decent defence, so you can farm for a + set. OF Rathalos is very good for example, the + version has Mind's eye, which is really not a very good skill (especially in high rank).
Basically, most + armours are better, but be sure to check the skills FIRST. Due to the higher grinding time for a + set, it's just sad to end up with something bad. Getting an OF set is possible if you like to have some defence, especially at HR 40. The HR armours aren't all that good at that point, and your unupgraded low rank won't offer much protection anymore.
