| If you are going to sns I recommend nardebosche or how ever it's spelled it is really effective against ala I would go with Peco if you are comfortable with it of not barioth but you seem prepared | |

Ya i don't try to spell that SnS but thats the one i am almost done. Just need 3 Claw+'s. And thanks for the fast response. I have spent a lot of time trying to find people to do ala with but its been fruitless. Atleast i have had the time to get fully prepared. probably going to be anti-climactic, especially if i get in a sleepbomb group.

- I've heard a lot of the Ceadeus Reset trick and how he can be repelled infinitely.
And i'm confused by that. I have fought Ceadeus about 10 times and I know how the Gem is a hard drop to acquire.
The Reset Trick isn't to repel him infinitely, it is to make it easier to kill him again for a chance of the gem. Step 1. 1st Quest: Lower its health until its ready to be repelled. (You just have to practice on knowing when it is weak enough.) Step 2. After that save at your bed. Step 3. 2nd Quest: Now do the quest again, and Ceadeus should be in Area 3 right away (There's a shortcut at the camp that can take you there instantly) Kill the Ceadeus. Carve him, than go to rewards screen. NOTE: At this point if there is no Deep Dragongem, rest/turn off your Wii. Re-load your save and you be at Step 3. Most people prefer this method to getting a gem, as killing a Ceadeus in one run could take 15-20min depending on how good you are at killing it. With this method you use 30min on the first run (Weaken it until repel state). Than you are able to kill it in 5 minutes on your 2nd run, and if you don't get the gem, you can reset until you get one. Of course you lose kill count, but that's why people do this for Gem farming ;). I hope that clears up your question.

| Here's an actually completely useless thing I was wondering about: What determines the victor of an arm-wrestle in the tavern?
I tried different tactics, and I'm not sure if it's just luck, random or god-knows-what... Just wondering...

| Quick longsword related question, which is better: Heaven's Thunder (R) or (Y)? I had thought the rule was, in weapon splits like this, that the one with the ''Attack Bonus'' rather than the affinity plus is preferred (i.e. Anguish (P)). Just curious as I don't think I've ever seen anyone pick (R) over (Y).....any answers are appreciated. | |

| Affinity increases the chance to deal extra damage upon a hit. Imo, it is more important to pick an affinity boost if the attack bonus is relatively small. I don't recall what the damage increase is exactly for that blade but if it is relatively small, I would choose the affinity boost. An attack boost would be recommended for a weapon with a larger attack such as the deviljho hammer since the boost is larger. Again, this is all my opinion and the choice is yours personal preference factors in a lot. | |

If possible, you should ALWAYS pick the attack boost. Only exeption is when there is no attack boost, such as with the Sabertooth(G). So, in this case, take (R), not (Y).

| I've never had a problem with claws. Are high rank claws that much harder? I got claws from 5 of my 7 runs where I broke all the claws, out of 11 total runs. (I know, it's not that much, but nobody wants to do Agnaktor Alert whenever it's up) | |

As described in the Rewards Guide there are 4 levels of Luck max 4. Petting the pig successfully adds one level of luck. To successfully pet the pig you must snuggle it. Continue snuggling until the music ends and stop when the pig shows a heart. Cumbersome gear like the Lance may obscure the heart. - Andrea88GOD wrote:

| Got a quick question, when using Might Pills, how often do you need to use a Might Seed to keep the effects of the Pill going? For example, if a Might Pill wears off after 60 seconds, I'd obviously want to use a Might Seed every 59 seconds or sooner to keep it going. Any answers are appreciated. | |
