Well, maybe this is the wrong thread but I was thinking about getting tatnusoko vs. capcom on the wii.

My question is: Should I get this or another fighting on a different system?

You could certainly do better. If you have either a PS3 or Xbox, SoulCaliburV, Super Street Fighter IV:AE, Street Fighter x Tekken, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters XIII, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, and Ultimate MvC3, are the the bigger fighters currently available.

SkullGirls, BlazBlue: ContinuumShift Extended, Persona 4: Arena are some others that might be interesting.

Dead or Alive 5, Sony All=Stars, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are just on the horizon, if any of those appeal to you.

Also Fighting is Magic, if you're into that.

Trying to get good with Cody in AE right now. Though it is proving that I should learn some small combos and when to use what attack. The latter is something I'll pick up over time but I really gotta learn more than MP into criminal upper, haha. Fairly sure I can FADC Criminal Upper into ultra 1 but I'll need to get better at consistent inputs before I start trying to FADC all over the place.

I haven't played SFIV in a long time, but you can pretty much just Focus Cancel out of anything and go into certain Ultras. (Ex Attacks?)

Yeah, that's what an FADC is - Focus Attack Dash Cancel. Only problem is right now it's a bit tricky for me, dashing as soon as the EX focus registers, then instantly doing the ultra input. I'll get the hang of it eventually as I get better with playing on a stick.

Yes, I do remember how difficult that was. I think only time is could pull it off was with this one combo with Rufus.

I play a ton of Mortal Kombat (up to Armageddon) and playing other various games, such as Tekken series, and Soulcalibur.

I have Soulcalibur II for the PlayStation 2... I suck at playing as Heihachi so I play as Talim. :3

And the Dragon Ball Budokai and Tenkaichi series of games. Holy crap, are those games good.

I think there is, but it's actually far away from where I live. Northern part of the city xD

I've actually been playing it a lot recently and I've gotten pretty decent with talim. 53% win ratio.

Haven't played IV in a while. I remember how much I sucked at it. I didn't really know my stuff until I played the crap out of SoulCaliburV. From what I remember the 2 are somewhat different.

There are currently a number of issues surrounding development and subsequent release of Persona 4 Arena in Europe. As we are not directly involved in the development process for P4A, these are elements which are beyond our control.

We are however, doing everything we can to help resolve this, so that we can
get the game into stores and, crucially, into your hands as quickly as possible.

We do understand your frustration and a need for a concrete release date, however, until we can ascertain exactly what that release period will be we are hesitant to do so. We would rather have all the facts about release to hand, and all issues be resolved, before making such an announcement.

Please be assured that as soon as WE know what the release date will be, YOU will be the first to know.

Any dates you see online are purely speculation. The first announcement of a release date will happen on the Persona Europe FB page and the Persona.4 FB page. We will then notify our contacts in the main Fighting Game Communities around Europe. If you have not seen a confirmed release date on this page, then it is best taken as a rumour.

Please also be aware, any events that are taking place around Europe will not disrupt the process of releasing them game. And UMvC3 isn't bad. It's somewhat broken, but it's still very good. Sadly, the devs have all moved on, so it won't be getting the SFxT treatment and get a patch every 2 months. And yes, it is the Hypest. Maybe only outclassed by 3rd Strike.

I actually support Chris G team in UMvC3 , zoning isn't really the base of the game ( more like braindead rushdown ) and Morrigan / Doom are the only good zoners out the , and yeah it's lame , i just like it

Umvc is DEFINATELY broken LOL , starters everywhere , airdash , fast dash , behind teleports , fullscreen mixups , DHC glitch , broken OTGs , death combos , X-factor ( vanilla mvc3 dark phoenix anyone? ) , it doesnt help that the community is filled with douchebags like Filipino Champ , Noel Brown and so on....


And many umvc players ( ie: Filipino ) not playing any kind of different game doesn't help making their fundamentals really unquestionable , JWong itself says Umvc is bad but still plays it for the money #fgsteams #esports

Lets not talk about SxTk , game is bad even with all the patching going on , the gem system is stupid , timeouts , dumb comeback mechanics , Ken/Ryu teams , Rolento glitch really makes that game stupid lol
