Automatically go off on a quest? That's.... uh.... Interesting... How is this online gonna work exactly?

Clearly he means something else.

I really doubt that they would stray too far from the hub that was in tri or portable 3rd. We're going to have to wait until they release some more elaborate information.

Well, you couldn't do any armor changes when signed up for a quest in Tri...

It could be something along the lines of you get ready to go on the quest you want to go on and then you walk up to the online person and say which quest you want to do and it automatically hooks you up with 3 other people looking to do the same quest.

If that's the case, that's pretty cool. Cuts down on loads of downtime.

Hmm... I dunno, I rather liked roaming around in tri, talking to people and all that. Also this could pose a major problem:

Say I wanted to hunt alatreon, so I set up all my gear to sleeps her, but turns out my other 3 companions are clusting, dressed in rathian armour using guan do, and one guy attempting to do it naked because he's so pro. There would be no more co-ordination or strategy or anything, just gear yourself ready for anything and hope for the best.

It will also really limit the socialability that was presant in tri. Either come in the game with an already established group of friends, or equip your 'lone-wolf' title and prepare to leave it that way.

Umm, You can still do all of that. I think people are looking at it differently then it's intended.. the auto quest launch and all is only for certain situation and once a quest is set not while you are preparing for a quest. You can still "Just hang out and stalk others" if you like...

Basically unlike tri, MHU is more Party centered. It helps encourage people to work together if online. If you want to solo than you should be offline or on the 3DS but once you log on to online its more group oriented, helping you find friends, helping you joing parties and connecting you with others socially.

Capcom and Nintendo have clearly made the distinction here that the WiiU is a social device and online is for social uses.

You are not losing anything by soloing ofline like you did in Tri though... Your just not taking up server space by soloing online.

Want to know about sound? It how about the HD quality of MH3U on the WiiU?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but do we know how many monsters will be in this game? Have they revealed the total, or at least a ball-park yet?

So now that pictures have been released... So far it looks like they did a lot better work on it than P3rdHD... Much better upscaling and it appeares they enhanced parts of it in places from what has been said on the unity forums to make it look appropriate on larger TV which was not done on P3rd...

^ Thought it wasn't even possible for the human eye to detect any higher than 30fps? Something like 30fps is just like looking at things happening in 'real time'.
