What do you want to see in MHU and MHU3DS?

First topic message reminder :

On the back of the news about Monster Hunter Ulitimate for Wii U and 3DS, what features do you want to see implemented?

For me i'd love to be able to transfer my character between the games, as i rarely get to use the TV (thou i believe this is confirmed already) or maybe the option of transferring my Tri character to the new games

New monsters are a given of course, so new armours and weapons would be introduced

I'd also like to see a more open game world, without the segmented areas of previous games

now i'll throw open the discussion to the forum, add your thoughts and comments below

but really, people are typing in different languages in the gates as is, a headset wouldn't limit you to one language.

well... yeah, I can speak english with a horrible accent, keep in mind that I have no one to talk english to so my vocals arent that great.

thats why I would rather use a keyboard than a headset

why can't they have both, they are pretty trivial to implement. They had both in tri, but the only problem was wii's voice engine sucked. Maybe they will think a little more for the headset on wii U.

anyway, what if two people with headset talk to you but they speak different languages? one of them will feel excluded...

1) to answer your question vort, I'm not saying not to include both the K/B & a headset. Since this threads about what we'd like to see, I'm not including a keyboard because we have that & it works fine. The Wii Speak thing suck because of the exact reason in your earlier post. I wanna see them improve on it and what they thing "better" is.

2) Lalols I just made up something XD meh spanish/foreign languages have been so rusty since senior years.

They did improve the Mic chat, quite a bit actually.. just not on the wii.. The 3DS game HoR.. While the game it's self is a bit of a let down the Mic chat was done well as well as the head set attachment. If they do something similar with the gamepad.. then yea, it will be quite an improvement over the wiiSpeak.

Since there isn't really a more accurate thread for it. But really, isn't MHU just MH3G with a different name?

Ata, yes and no. It is not confirmed yet that nothing else has been added. Capcom is still keeping silent on some of MHU's features which is odd if it's a direct port of 3G as there would be nothing to remain silent about.

Unless they are being silent as a ploy to make people think they added new features so that more will buy it.

I really can't see that happening with any game ever.

I'd imagine that they'd try to alter a few event weapons.

Similar to how they did a few already in Tri.

Which would be horrible because every japan event weapon > american event weapons.

Will cry if Pirate J Axe is swapped out for Sinister Saints again. /sad/

The problem with event weapons is that they're a cooperation between capcom and some other company (in japan at least). There's not much point in advertising a japanese company outside of japan. Changing it might not even be a choice on capcom's side, but hey, you get pretty nice weapons in return. I personally prefer the tenebra and the saints over the tessaiga and pirate j axe, but they've got the exact same stats in the end.

Should capcom take the western market completely seriously at some point in the future, i'm guessing we might be seeing weapons like the 'Double Whopper Switchaxe'.

I guess Tenebra would be my one exception, but I'm not much of a Longsword user so I wasn't really paying it much mind.

Pirate J axe however... That is just the coolest weapon I've ever seen. /yes/

I do like the GS JP event weapon more than... that thing others got...

However, I liked Sinister saint's design somewhat more, mostly because of the reaper XD.

Lol yea the reaper was sick, the whole fact they were clever enough to give it a different 'persona' between modes was just sick.

The best part still is the Chorus/Scream SFX when you switch modes tho XD
