sorry,i meant like in mhfu. They give you the lowest equipment at the start of the game. And as you progress though the game, you slowly get to use your stronger weapons, and armor.

Armor as well as weapon statistics have been altered in 3 Ultimate, so the possibility of that happening is VERY slim... Unless they are willing to really alter the Wii U version from the 3DS game.

In MH3U... You start off with one of every weapon and Leather armor....
You then Hunt Monsters to make better (upgrade) better armor and weapons... Same as it has been for most MH games..
I may be missing the point of some questions people may be asking? They may not be well explained or I may not be seing it the same way but MH3U though yes an inhanced version of Tri.. Is still a different game for the most part. Not just "Add on content".
It would be defeating the point of playing "A New Monster Hunter Game" if you already started out half way through part of the game and having SKIPPED a lot of the new elements and content in the game...
I mean.. That'd be like not playing the Offline Portion of MHTri first and jumping straight online and not even knowing how to collect monster guts or use the controls or even kill a monster at all...
Monster Hunter is a Point A to B to C and so on game... If you skip the part in the middle.... Well you miss the game entirely. It's not just about having the best stuff but about the journey you take to get there..

Yeah, it's as It's meh said. This isn't just an expansion of Tri, but a completely new game. The armors have different skills, the weapons have different stats, the quest tier is restructured, even the skills and charms have been changed. Not to mention the new monsters, new areas, and the changes to bowguns. This is all, of course, compounded by the fact that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is running on a new engine.
As for Dcj's post; well put. /yes/

well,i wasnt going to start with an ala weapon fighting g.jaggi.When i transfered my data from mhf2 to mhfu, they allowed me lower rank weapons, and as i progress,i got my better armor and weapons back. They do it in other games as well,so it really isnt missing the whole game.

I think you're missing the point.. In other games the changes aren't as great. They are usually just updates or exspansions in a... general sense of the term and having your items ported from previous games usually makes sense. In a lot of "Part 2's" or sequals having that option does work well...
But with MH3U's cross play (Especially here in the west) with the WiiU/3DS and all of the updates changes and not to mention the fact it is on two entierly new system all together, having anything from tri transfered over would basically be about the same as having hmmm lets say transfer data from.. well, a NES game to it's Wii remake or sequal. They'd be the same game or an updated enhanced versun of sorts but all in all a completely different game.
Ither than that, I don't know what to tell you. Many of us have spend hundreds or thousands of hours on Tri and most other MH games. It's just the way a lot of games are. I'm fine with it. But I can see your point as well but do try to understand it is a different game all in all.

Even in rage mode he still has 2 modes like other monsters.. So she's more of a Beefed up Jho... She has a constant rage than... a super Hungry rage I guess you could say.

HungryJho is the Brute Wyvern equivalent of the Super Rajang: They're both like the rage mode of their normal versions when fighting normally, but then they have their own Rage status, one up from the normal type, like Super Rajang having a red aura and being able to use a Spirit Bomb lookalike, and HungryJho having a Dragon-like aura on his back. Oh, and they do tons more damage. On Youtube theres a guy called GSD who has videos of MH3G, mostly the new monsters like Jhen subspecies, Narga and Lagriacus Rare Species, Bracchidios...and of course Hungry Deviljho.

Sorry, back on topic: I'd like the import data thing with MHFU, which transfers Zenny, Rarity 1-3 items, sells your weqpons and the rarity 4-6 items and just invalidates anything higher. It's more of a jumpstart than a shortcut tbh.

If i imported my money from tri, I wouldnt need money for the rest of the game. and I would have over 999 honey and 999 megapots.
its a new game, a new adventure, so I guess you need ot earn everything again

That's basically it in a nutshell, GJ lalols -tosses scooby snack-
This isn't like pokemon where basically every pokeymanz is the same thruought every game in appearence/stats/etc & easily transferable to the newest version.
For one, The armors are different & most have new abilities/a ability nerfed off. same with wepon stats. that alone would be a serious investment for capcom to try to work out, & I see why they decided to leave that transferability out. tri is one game & MHU is its own entity itself with many things different from its older sibling game.
