Pink Rathian. Much harder than I was expecting. She was my first triple cart offline (not including my attempt at P.Ludroth in the arena *shudders*).

I'm really disappointed with the difficulty curve. In Tri, I died at least once to every monster. In 3U, I've only carted to LR Duramboros, P.Ludroth, Pink Rathian, HR Barroth, Crimson Peco and Crimson Peco's best buddy, Jho. Curse my poor sonic bomb timing. I'm always a split second too late.

On the bright side, I've begun using two new weps... that I can't seem to make any good armor for as I have to work out the skills and defenses myself because the wiki only has a few armor sets. Oh well, back to grinding HR Jaggi.

What do you mean? You can get blossom crickets from people in your guild cards.

Village Caedeus... yep, that's where I'm stuck. First off, I've always hated UW combat in Monster Hunter, HATE IT. But this is just ridiculous. I can't even rout Caedeus. I'm mainly using LS and Bow, both of them of the Lagi variety and I'm NOT terrible at either of them but apparently I'm not dealing enough damage to get Caedeus to move on to the final confrontation. Did they bump his HP or something? Or at least his beard's HP? That shit won't break no matter what I do.

are you using the dragonator? maybe try using the balista's too.
if all else fails get high rank gear from online and then go back to cead.

...so ypu should be able to with wroggi wouldn't recommend the bow just cause it'll be SOO BORING AND TEDIOUS.
Just bring a schnits load of bombs, give Cha-Chi any kayam-balaya Dragon ATK+Element up abilities and you should be good.
and if you still can't complete it, go make Volvidon armor, gem it up to attack up medium and you'll be set.

Yeah, it took me a while to break the beard too. I normally break it in the first are but it took me till the second to get it. At the end it took me about 20 minutes or so to break all the parts and repel caedeus with both of my shakalakas using dragon attack.

I was using the peco gunlace with the rathian set gemmed for fire attack +2. Not the set I originally intended to use, but I forgot to change armor before I left.

Miralis utterly hates me. And my Lagi Z's low fire res. Lots of carting today trying to do traiprac's urgent. Finally had enough shit, went to a room, got people together, took out my Nether Dilemnity and shit was killed.

Trying to get barroth armor. gotten quite a few wyvern stones, but no claw+.
I break the hands every time. (I am gunlancing, so the hands usually break 1 min into the fight.) >.> <.<

Im using full jho/jho sword and did him first time....was new to the boss too and almost failed it cuz i was looking around for dragonator and the balistas. lucky i killed him with draginator in the end. broken horn and chest 1 shot :D
