Great Sword changes in 3U

As topic states.

I read somewhere that in 3U now elemental dmg also matters on GS. With downward slash lv3 charged you get 200% boost from element and with overhead slash lv3 charged you get 300% boost. Can anyone confirm this? If i'm wrong please correct me.

Also this brings up whole new possibilities for GS. For instance when it comes to water GS, Plesioth Aquablade was pretty much best of all. Purple sharpness, 1248 raw and 450 element.

But now when element actually boost dmg, does Sand Barioth GS awakened outdamages it? It has purple sharpness, 1152 raw and 700 element witch is pretty solid number i guess. The difference in raw is noticeable, but it got 250 more element and also +35% affinity.

So let's consider hypothetical situation in which player is using only lv3 charges with crit draw, sharpness+1 on monster weak to water (for instance Dios). What will deal more dmg?

Id love to answer your question but I honestly have no clue to me not using GS

As far as I remember, GS charging effected element and status damage in Tri. So that doesn't sound like much of a change to me.

in fairly sure it didnt, and it only did that in p3rd onwards. cause in tri, element was practically meaningless on your gs.
